The game featured a lot of offense with both teams being able to march downfield and put points on the board. In the end, the Bruins capitalized more and took home the win. Here is a look at some of the top prospects and performers from that game.
ROCK BRIDGE BRUINS
Sam Kaiser

MO
2024 QB
Big time QB prospect who has all the tools that D1 schools look for. Kaiser is smooth in the pocket and running the offense. The game seems to slow down for him and allows him to make the right decisions. He sees the field well and finds his target in quick order. Does a good job not forcing things and going through progressions. He can throw every pass and has very good ball placement for his receivers. He is also a good runner and uses his size and height well to pick up extra yards. He was 13 of 21 on the night for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Grayson Cutchlow

2024 LB
Talented junior LB prospect. Cutchlow was sideline-to-sideline making big hit after big hit and making plays. He has great size and speed for a linebacker, and showed good technique wrapping up players and closes on plays quickly. Also can cover back and tight ends well. I lost track of his tackle count on the night, but I know he leads his team overall with 70+ tackles on the season. It’s no wonder that several D1 schools, including Iowa State that he
Drevyn Seamon

Seamon

Rock Bridge | 2025

2025 WR/RB
Speedy and elusive all-purpose running back and receiver didn’t play a lot during the game and told me he had been a little injured during the week so was getting light action for this one. Seamon has had a breakout season so far running and receiving the ball with 729 all-purpose yards and 7 touchdowns. He is also a kick return threat. He was impressive at the 2022 Elite Football combine and has used that as a springboard into his sophomore season.
Carter De Vore 2024 OL
Big, powerful offensive line prospect with good athleticism and quick feet. Very good run blocker who exhibits solid pass pro skills as well. Did a nice job protecting Kaiser and opening holes in the run game for the backs to pick up important downs and scores. Is getting interest from D1 schools and recently took a game day visit to Kansas.
Stephen Gibson 2023 WR
High energy and heady wide receiver talent who does a great job using his quickness in creating space and getting open. Seems to be a reliable target for Kaiser and they have good chemistry making plays. He’s a physical receiver despite his size and makes the difficult catch and is willing to lay out for the ball. Good athlete with surprising speed who has soft hands and ran nice routes on the evening that allowed him to make several big touchdown grabs on the night. He leads his team in yards per catch and receiving touchdowns.
Aidan Dubbert 2023 DE
Senior defensive end who led the Bruins defensive line that put pressure on Battle’s QB all night and forced him to scramble, not allowing him time to set up and find receivers unless he was on the move. Good motor and quickness. Runs well and doesn’t give up on plays. Leads the Bruins in sacks on the season to go with his 34 tackles overall. Gave great effort all game long.
Cooper Myers 2024 RB
The 5’8″ 190lb Myers ran hard all night between the tackles picking up tough yards and scoring two touchdowns in the process. He was like a pinball bouncing off tackles and keep his feet and legs turning and using good burst to score.
Tomisaac Johnson

2023 RB
Johnson is another tough runner for the Bruins who racked up 100+ yards on the night and scored a couple of rushing touchdowns. He also showed good acceleration to go along with his physical running style.

2023 RB
Tough as nails senior RB/LB Rickie Dunn Rickie Dunn 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB Battle | 2023 State MO has been having performances like this his entire high school career. He never quits and Friday was no different with his impressive performance scoring three tough touchdowns in the second half and helping bring his team back to make it close until the end. Dunn is a great combination of speed and power. He runs very hard and punishes would-be tackles on his runs. He ran through many on the night and left it all on the field. Right now he has offers from Lincoln University, Southwest Baptist and Culver-Stockton with Missouri Western, Truman State, Central Missouri, Quincy University and William Jewell making a push and Kansas State showing interest.
Justin Goolsby

Goolsby

Battle | 2023

MO
2023 QB
Senior QB Justin Gooslby is one of most athletic signal-caller in the state, and he used that athleticism to escape constant pressure all night and make play after play to help keep his Spartans in the game into the 4th quarter. Goolsby runs like a tailback at 6’3″ with his elusiveness and ability to make defenders miss as he glides downfield with his speed. He also has a cannon for an arm and is accurate when he has time to throw. He made some nice passes on the run and under pressure and was able to score a couple rushing touchdowns. He’s a true dual threat who’s best football is still ahead of him.
Taren Hedrick 2025 OT
Hedrick is one of the top 2025 offensive line prospects in the Missouri class of 2025. He’s very athletic and has great feet for 6’5″ 305 pounds playing left tackle. He’s powerful and sustains his blocks well, stacking pancakes and getting out on downline or downfield. Quick feet, kick step and punch with his pass pro battling guys off the edge. He’s an impressive young prospect with very good upside still to get better. Looks like a certain D1 prospect if he continues to progress at this rate.
Alijah Jackman 2025 DE/OLB
The junior LB/DE prospect Jackman was active all night with pressure and playing good defense in trying to contain the Bruins. Alijah is quick, athletic and has a good motor playing to the whistle getting after ball carries or quarterbacks. He is one of Battle’s top defenders overall and a future college prospect.
Daquel Wright 2024 WR
Junior WR Daqual Wright caught my attention making several clutch grabs for the Spartans to help keep drives alive. Wright displayed good speed and route running ability to help his quarterback out who was on the move. Did a nice job coming back and laying out for passes thrown his way showing good hands to haul in the grabs. Looks like an athletic receiver prospect to watch the remainder of this season and next.
Chris Brown 2025 DE
Brown started on varsity as a freshman last season and has picked up where he left off last year for Battle. He’s a quick and active defender who has a nose for the ball and makes plays. He’s good against the run or rushing the passer.
Cameron Watts 2025 S
This sophomore safety caught my attention with his play on Friday. The rangy DB covers a lot of ground and looks to have a promising skill set already with the potential to be even better. He runs well, is physical and showed good knowledge of the game. He could possibly grow into a linebacker of the next couple of years. Definitely a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
