Prep Redzone has all the details below…
Bryce Thornton Bryce Thornton 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB Milton | 2023 State GA – DB – Milton
One of the top overall safety prospects in the state, Thornton has been a multi-year starter for the Eagles in his career and had been a reliable defensive back and overall athlete for the Eagles for a few years now. An instinctive defender who is excellent in coverage, Thornton has always looked like an SEC-caliber defender, and that’s where he’ll be playing at the next level, committing to the Florida Gators this week over Alabama. He’s a tough run defender and secure tackler, but his ball skills in coverage will make him a dependable defender in the secondary for the Gators. The 5-foot-10 185-pounder is a big-time prospect and he’s hoping to finish off an outstanding career at Milton this fall.
Savocie White – WR – Cass
A true breakout receiver this fall and one of the top receivers in Georgia for the 2024 class, White is a strong, explosive playmaker on the outside with tremendous body control and ball skills. He’s quick, twitchy, and dominated during the camp circuit this season, earning offers from some of the top programs in the country. It didn’t take long for White, a native of Cartersville and massive weapon for Cass High School, to stay in the peach state and commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. He dominated a 7-on-7 camp in June in front of the Georgia staff, and he became a priority for the Bulldogs in the 2024 class ever since. He’s a versatile receiver who knows how to get open consistently, can be a down-field threat, and also make plays in the screen and short passing game. There’s a lot to like about his game, and Georgia fans are going to love having him on board.
Zechariah Owens Zechariah Owens 6'7" | 345 lbs | OL Eagle;s Landing Christian Academy | 2023 State GA – OL – Eagle’s Landing Christian
A dominant offensive lineman and one of thew biggest overall offensive linemen across Georgia, the massive 6-foot-5 260-pound tackle has been committed to Clemson since July 5th, but decided to back off that pledge and open up his recruitment this week. A dominant tackle who will likely play guard at the next level, Owens can dominate in his region just on size and overall strength. He’s bigger than everyone he lines up against and consistently takes them out of the play. With Owens being open again to others schools, look for programs like Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida State, among others to jump on board and push for the metro-Atlanta offensive lineman.
