Rykin Maxwell
In this game, Maxwell played quarterback instead of his usual wide receiver position and looked very athletic and fluid when running a variety of zone reads, QB sweeps, and iso-type of QB runs. He scored a couple of first half touchdowns and gave the Vikings a big lead they never let go of. He has improved his speed by running track in the offseason and has some Division 1 interest from a recruiting standpoint.
Demoris Jenkins
Demoris Jenkins
The East Carolina commit showed a great bit of dominance coming off the edge at his linebacker spot all night long. He had several tackles for loss and did provide pressure rushing the passer as well. Jenkins has added good weight to his frame and explodes off the football at the snap. He is extremely physical and tackles well in space, and projects to grow into a real impact player on the next level.
Omari Sanders-Richardson

With the Vikings running a lot on the outside of the defense – presumably to stay away from MLB Beady Waddell V Beady Waddell V 6’0″ | 210 lbs | LB West Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC – Sanders-Richardson racked up a total of 15 tackles on the game – a little bit unusual for a corner, but I think Omari showed well – he did a great job of tackling in space and being physical at the point of attack. Those are things that are very difficult to find in a high school cornerback, and he displayed them very well.
Ola Olasimbo
Ola Olasimbo
I have seen Ola up close at camps where he has had dominant performances, so I was excited to see him in person in a game situation. What I really loved in watching him was his technique – he has excellent footwork and hand placement for an offensive linemen with his size at 6’4 and 290 pounds. Colleges have noticed this as well and he has picked up several offers to add on to the ones he already had received during the camp circuit this offseason.
