I will be discussing my wide receivers and tight-ends picks for my offensive team.
WR: Langham Creek Jaquaize Pettaway Jaquaize Pettaway 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Langham Creek | 2023 State TX Sr 5’11 170 lbs
Jaquaize Pettaway Jaquaize Pettaway 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Langham Creek | 2023 State TX is one of the fastest people in Texas and probably the fastest in Houston. Jaquaize couldn’t be touched no one he played against could match his speed. Jaquaize strongest trait was running the ball wide and hugging the out-of-bound line and going to the end zone. Another one of Jaquaize’s traits is his jumping ability and long reach catching long overhead passes acting like he was the height of a 6’4 wide receiver. Jaquaize is a top college prospect catching the attention of numerous amount of colleges and universities, but the one he chose to commit to was the University of Oklahoma.
WR: Westfield High School DaJohn Palomo Sr 5’10 175 lbs
Dajohn Palomo is incredibly fast always getting around his defenders and getting open for passes. Another one of Dajohn’s standout traits was his fortitude and tenacity to get the ball and reach the endzone. DaJohn is on his way to making a big name for himself in his senior year and will become a top college prospect. DaJohn currently has two offers from Arkansas Baptist College and Southwestern Assemblies of God University. DaJohn’s stats currently this season for 8 games are 31 receptions for 680 yards with 13 touchdowns and three touchdowns from kickoff and punt return for 16 total touchdowns.
WR: Cy-Ranch Jarred Sample Jarred Sample 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Cypress Ranch | 2023 State TX Sr 5’10 170 lbs
Jarred Sample Jarred Sample 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Cypress Ranch | 2023 State TX ‘s specialty was his speed any defensive back couldn’t stop or cover him at all. Letting Jarred run down the field completely open for passes was the worst outcome for defenses. It didn’t matter to Jarred if there was a defensive back or a safety or two covering him he’ll still find a way to get open to catch the pass. Jarred is a top college prospect catching the attention of numerous amount of colleges and universities, but the college he chose to commit to was The University of Kansas.
TE: Stratford High School Hawkins Polley Hawkins Polley 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Stratford | 2023 State TX Sr 6’4 245 lbs
Hawkins Polley Hawkins Polley 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE Stratford | 2023 State TX is a gigantic wide receiver and tight end and is built like a brick wall it is difficult for him not to stand out. Being a brick wall Hawkins is just that when he blocks providing great protection and preventing anyone to get past him. Hawkins however, is more than just his massive size when he catches the ball he will get positive results. Hawkins was also commendably fast and with a long stride, his point A to point B was drastically different from everyone else. Hawkins is a top college prospect having tons of offers from colleges and universities, but the college he chose to commit to was Baylor University. Hawkins’ stats currently this season for 8 games are 19 receptions for 335 yards with 6 touchdowns.
