The eye in the sky does not lie, says every college football coach. This group of players has the potential to be college athletes or already have big-time offers. With most of the season already being played, there are a lot of new films to watch from all over the states. I have watched many highlight tapes, and feel free to send me yours on my Twitter too. Let’s open my notebook, shall we?
John is a crafty football player who has excellent ball skills. His ability to find a short, out-of-range or even long football is unbelievable. I like that he has the drive to improve; this is his passion. He has good speed and nice breaks at the end of his routes. When you continue to watch the film, he shows you explosiveness, good footwork, and hand-eye coordination. He already has multiple division one offers (P5 and G5), but he will end up with many more he is a player to watch out of Georgia.

Luke Achtermann
Luke Achtermann
Luke is a talented and tough young football player. He has IQ, as if he’s been playing varsity for many years, but he’s only a sophomore. Racking up sacks and interceptions has been something he’s done all season long, and wreaking havoc on tackles has also been mixed into the plan. Luke is not fooled often in play-action or different types of reads. He studies the game well he gives a solid effort on plays he ends up on the backside of. He will be a fun football player to watch for the next couple of years and a player to watch going forward.
Nic Gordon
Nic Gordon
Nick Gordon now holds the title for the most passing TDS in a season for Sparta High School. A 6 ft 5 gifted quarterback throws the ball with a nice Spin and has proved he can throw it deep with touch. Nic has the prototypical frame for a division 1 quarterback and will start seeing more looks this off-season. He has been starting varsity since his first year, and college coaches are now starting to take notice of his size and his ability to lead a football team on the field. I spoke with Gordon, who told me he would update his highlights, so if you click on this hudl account, you can see what he has done in the past and present.
He is a physical Edge rusher that likes to use his hands. He does not miss many tackles and loves to put his nose on the football. He shows excellent speed and explosive hips when he drives through his tackles. When asked to play in coverage, he does a decent job of staying with skilled players. His strength it’s coming off the edge and playing in the Box as a big-time football player. He is a dog off the chain on the field, one of the most solid defenders in Ohio’s 2024 class.
Danny is one of the toughest and fastest athletes that you can find in Northeast Ohio. I first met Danny at the all-Ohio showcase I hosted the past two years. In 2022 Danny won the fastest athlete at the Austintown camp and the final showcase at Shaker Heights high school. Danny got his first power five offer to Iowa State just a few weeks ago, but on the field, he has been tearing up exceptional talent in the prospect to continue watching as you climb the charts. Danny wants to deliver punishment which makes me believe he will be an LB at the next level.
