Darious Dampier
Darious has been a consistent running back for the Tigers this year. Everytime Dampier has touched the ball this season he gains nearly 7 yards. Although he splits reps with various other running backs he receives the lion share of the reps and does so very effectively. What is quite notable about Darious is how versatile he can be for this offense. Oftentimes Darious has been called upon to play QB and did so efficiently. Having an athlete who can be multiple is an invaluable asset to coaches. Dampier is a great prospect who can play multiple roles in any offense.
Mylin Jenkins
Mylin Jenkins
Mylin is an incredibly disruptive linebacker who makes big time plays essentially every down. He is patient yet explosive when it comes to destroying blocks and making tackles. His aggressiveness is paltable on the field as he does an excellent job in shutting down opposing running backs and blocking linemen. Jenkins shows capability to flow sideline to sideline which has lead to him making nearly 100 tackles for the season. His presence is what has helped Mendenhall get to 8-1 for the season and one of the top programs in the state. Mylin would be a prefect linebacker in the SEC.
Chance Barron has been somewhat of an eraser for the Tigers this year. He is exactly the type of athlete you would want as a safety. He can cover the entire width of the field in seconds, comes screaming down the alley to make tackles in the backfield and chases down escaping runningbacks. His name and demeanor remind me of Kam Chancellor from the seattle Seahawks. Barron is always ready to make a big time play which is why he is at over 80 tackles for the year with 15 of those being for losses. Chance is an excellent athlete with great instincts that would serve many D1 defenses well.
