Which prospects earned new offers this week?
Prep Redzone takes a look…
Kam Mikell – Statesboro
One of the top overall athletes in the Statesboro and Savannah area, Mikell is a dynamic defensive back who also helps his Statesboro team on offense. He’s a strong kid with D1-caliber size and his recruitment is in the middle of taking off. The two-way player is smart, instinctive, and defensively, he knows how to tackle. He already looks like a D1 player and his best football is still ahead of him. He’s a rangy defender who closes well against the run and covers a lot of ground in the back end against the pass. He’s a prospect whose stock will continue to rise, and he earned a new SEC offer this week from Ole Miss.
Jivan Baly Jivan Baly 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Meadowcreek | 2024 State GA – Meadowcreek
A promising defensive back and one of the best in Gwinnett County for the 2024 class, it’s easy to see why Baly is seeing more offers come his way. A true cover corner with length and ball skills, Baly has been a shut-down defensive back for the Mustangs through his first five games, allowing zero touchdowns and picking off three passes. He does a great job of making a play on the ball and rarely lets a receiver get behind him. He’s a true weapon in the secondary and continues to play better and better. He’s an easy D1-caliber talent and recently added an offer from Western Kentucky.
Emaree Winston Emaree Winston 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Calhoun | 2025 State GA – Calhoun
A dynamic sophomore with big play ability, Winston is a big target at tight end who can be deadly against defenses in the passing game. At 6-foot-3 230-pounds, Winston is a reliable pass catcher who can be tough to bring down by just one defender. He has D1-caliber size and already looks the part physically. He’s off to a strong sophomore season and will only get better over time with more experience and as he develops more as a route-runner. He’s a physical blocker on the outside, but his size, hands, and consistency is why he’s earning D1 offers. He added a big SEC offer recently from Ole Miss and it won’t be his last.
Ryan Ghea Ryan Ghea 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Milton | 2025 State GA – Milton
One of the top 2025 prospects in North Georgia, Ghea is a big target at tight end who knows how to get open and catch the football. A smooth route runner for his age, Ghea has plenty of size at 6-foot-5 220-pounds and off to a fast start as a sophomore this fall. While he hasn’t lit up the stat sheet just yet, he’s a promising prospect and it’s easy to see the D1-caliber size and talent that he brings to the table. It’s very early in his recruitment, but the offers are flowing in, and he earned another impressive offer this weekend from Wisconsin.
