This game was one of my most anticipated games of the week and I knew it would have some great moments and I was not wrong. At first the Titans were out played by the Dragons. Zane Flores Zane Flores 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Gretna | 2023 State NE would score the first two opening touchdowns on the ground. Papio South would block the second extra point bringing some life into the crowd and the defense. Gretna’s offense couldn’t be stopped the Offensive line made massive holes and kept Flores safe in the pocket allowing him time to throw and allowing time for him to go through all of his progressions and get his throws off and scramble which he did scoring another touchdown putting the Dragons up 20-0 at the end of the first quarter. In the second the Titans would finally score with Royceon Skogerboe Royceon Skogerboe 5'6" | 130 lbs | WR Papillion-La Vista South | 2024 State NE making some moves on the Dragons secondary and score. Gretna would hit back driving and scoring with a pass to Tyson Boganowski Tyson Boganowski 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Gretna | 2023 State NE making the score Gretna 27- Papio South 6. Devyn Jones Devyn Jones 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Papillion La Vista South | 2023 State NE would punch it in for the Titans and get the the two point conversion getting them inch closer to tying the game. The Titans Defense would hold strong forcing a punt, Papio-South would get the ball back but Korver Demma Korver Demma 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Gretna | 2023 State NE would tip a pass and intercept it taking it back for a pick 6. Demma was impactful forcing a fumble after Papio-South got the ball back. At the end of 3 the score would be 34-20 with the Dragons still leading. Demma’s fumble would lead to Zane Flores Zane Flores 6'3" | 190 lbs | QB Gretna | 2023 State NE throwing it to Blayke Moore Blayke Moore 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Gretna | 2023 State NE and scoring another touchdown putting the score at 41-20. Key Players
DE Korver Demma Korver Demma 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Gretna | 2023 State NE (2023)
Korver was a playmaker and a game changer for the dragons. When the game was tight he made two plays in a row to help put the game out of reach and secured the victory. For the stats on the game he had 8 tckls, 2 sacks, and Interception for a touchdown and a fumble recovery. He absolutely dominated this game.
WR Tyson Boganowski Tyson Boganowski 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Gretna | 2023 State NE (2023)
Boganowski is a solid player and route runner. He is very good at slicing up defenses with his routed getting open down field very easily. On Thursday he lead the Dragons with 5 receptions for 66 yards and 1 touchdown. On the season Boganowski has had 305 catches for 3 touchdowns and an average of 9.5 yards per catch.
RB Devyn Jones Devyn Jones 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Papillion La Vista South | 2023 State NE (2023)
Jones has everything the Titans need in a running back. He can catch the ball and he can run the ball and more. On the day Devyn had 99 yards on the ground only on 18 carries. He averaged 5.5 yards a carry and scored 2 touchdowns. On the season he has totally dominated with 117 carries for 836 yards and 15 touchdowns. Jones also caught the ball 2 times for 45 yards one of the catches went for 30 yards. On the season he has had 4 catches go for 58 yards and a touchdown.
WR Royceon Skogerboe Royceon Skogerboe 5'6" | 130 lbs | WR Papillion-La Vista South | 2024 State NE (2024)
Skogerboe is elite. One of the best games by a WR I have seen in any level. He had 9 catches for 152 total yards averaging 16.9 yards per catch and two touchdowns. Singlehandedly sliced up the Dragons defense at multiple points during the game. Thursday was almost half of his total 308 yards and half of his total TDs. Look out for Royceon in the rest of the season for the Titans
