FRHS won a share of the WPIAL 5A Big East Conference title last week after beating Hempfield High School (5-3). The week 7 victory clinched a playoff berth, and Franklin Regional wants to keep that winning momentum going versus North Hills (3-5). Franklin Regional’s college prospects that will be suiting up Friday night are listed below.
Hudock has been putting up impressive stats in 2022. The junior wideout is averaging 28.5 yds per reception. Ayden’s talented at finding holes in zone coverage. Hudock‘s fast enough to run by Cornerbacks on fade routes, & he’s quick enough to gain sufficient YAC yards at any time. The 24′ receiver does a great job of tracking & catching deep balls over his shoulder. Ayden’s also a dangerous kick returner that possesses the ability to score from anywhere. The junior WR has 24 receptions for 684 yds and 9 touchdowns this season.
Sarnic is a two-way player for the Panthers and one of their senior leaders. He’s a scrappy defender that plays well off of blocks. Sarnic has good speed & can get to the QB on a Blitz once dispatched. He possesses the athletic ability to be an adequate zone dropper. The Franklin Regional letterman is a consistent open-field tackler. Roman sets the edge well in run pursuit, making outside runs mandatory to land inside of him. Sarnic’s the starting QB that does his damage primarily by running the ball. The Panthers’ signal caller throws well on the run & off of RPO & play action. The senior prospect could hypothetically contribute to various special teams units as well.
Max Leven

Sinclair’s a D1 prospect at the LB position for Franklin Regional. His football IQ is sharp & he diagnoses plays fast on the run. Sinclair’s a vicious hitter that plays sideline to sideline. Owen is disruptive in general, but he’s especially dangerous rushing the Quarterback. His motor allows him to explosively tackle ball carriers fighting for extra yards. Franklin Regional’s junior LB is athletic enough to beat blockers with speed. Sinclair’s strength is seen when he engages & disengages O Linemen in pursuit. He’s decently athletic but could improve on his lateral quickness & speed.
Petrucci has one lone offer presently from D2 Clarion. The senior Lineman is strong & gets good hand placement positioning on run blocks. He has decent footwork kick sliding in pass protection. Petrucci displays power down or reach-blocking defenders out of the hole. Nick‘s mobility is good, he displayed it lead blocking on screens. The 2023 Offensive Lineman is also an above-average Long Snapper. Petrucci maintains a 4.34 GPA & has a 1420 SAT score.
Nate Chiarzio
Nate Chiarzio
Nate has received interest from Ivy league & other prestigious academic universities & colleges. Nate displays a lot of strength and body control when he blocks. Chiarzio is a decent TE, but I think he will grow into an Offensive Tackle. The 23′ Tight End has good hands, and he’s skilled at using his body to shield defenders away on receptions. Nate’s strongest attribute is his man-blocking on rushing plays. He’s also capable of being a good blocking H-back.
Austin’s driven in pursuit and he doesn’t slack on plays. He’s a little light at 180 pounds, but his current weight‘s sufficient for a sophomore WLB. The 25′ prospect is a good-form tackler with decent ball skills, which he exhibited on his deflected Interception. AK plays with toughness, but he needs to continue to develop his weight room strength. Austin maintains 4.6 speed & moves decently laterally. The sophomore LB will be one of the Panthers’ leaders for the next couple of seasons to come.
Andrew Devola
Andrew Devola
The Sophomore Lineman has been productive on both sides of the ball this season. Andrew possesses a lot of upper body strength and power. He drives defenders back once he gets his feet going. Devola is still an underclassman with a lot of time left for development. When Andrew fires his feet on contact pancakes occur more frequently. Defense is where Devola has the most production. The sophomore DT is currently leading Franklin Regional with 8.5 sacks on the year.
