Mardossian does a great job of making tackles in the backfield when he is called to blitz off the edge. He has no problem working through traffic and chasing down ballcarriers. He has good size for the linebacker position at 6-1, 210lbs. His frame is lean and muscular and could easily add muscle and keep his speed and agility. Mardossian has shown the ability to deliver big hits and cause opposing ball carriers to fumble. If he creates a big play turnover for his team you have to love their chances to help his team defeat South Lyon East.
#3 Javon Williams | CB | Warren De La Salle Collegiate | Hudl
Williams is a great press man to man cornerback for De La Salle. He does a great job of turning and running with wide receivers. He has outstanding play strength and can drive receivers out of the play into the sideline. Teams do not throw his way very often and that will likely be the case this upcoming Friday when they take on Gross Pointe South. Williams’s ability to take away one side of the field will play a critical factor in his team winning this game.
#4 Amare Snowden | DB | Roseville | Hudl
Snowden plays the football very well when it’s in the air and can come down with interceptions with ease. He has great speed and has the ability to turn interceptions into big-play touchdown returns. Snowden and Roseville will take on Warren Cousino this Friday night. Cousino will likely avoid throwing anywhere near Snowden to avoid a potentially costly turnover.
#1 Micah Davis | DB | Dexter | Hudl
Davis is having a fantastic season. He is a big hitter who just always seems to be around the football. Davis was a key part of his team finishing with a perfect 9-0 regular season record. His team will take on Milford this Friday night at home. Davis will look to continue to make big hits and create key takeaways.
#2 Trey Brueggemann | LB/RB | Temperance Bedford | Hudl
Brueggemann has been a big-time playmaker for Bedford this year on offense and especially on defense. It seems like almost every game he is coming up with a key pick-6 interception for his team. He is quick to diagnose plays and then fly and make tackles. His tackling technique is outstanding and he does a great job of wrapping up and finishing tackles. He is very effective at blitzing and closes in on quarterbacks in a hurry.
Brueggemann played outstanding in Bedford’s upset win over Saline a couple of weeks ago. He made numerous tackles in that game and scored an early touchdown that ended up being the game-winner. Bedford will take on Farmington this upcoming Friday. Farmington comes in with a 6-3 record respectfully and will look to steal a win from Bedford at home. Farmington‘s coaching staff will definitely need to be aware of Brueggemann at all times in this game. Another pick-6 by for Brueggemann could mean another win for Bedford.
