Bedford Players That Stood Out
#28 Tyler Boerst | RB/LB | 2023
Boerst has been so effective running the football all season for Bedford and Friday night was no different. Boerst has the speed and acceleration to get to the outside in a hurry and create big gains on toss plays. His running early in the game really set the tone that Bedford was going to run the football well all night.
#88 Thomas Huss | TE/DE | 2023
The big play touchdown catch was crucial for Bedford. Even though Farmington did a good job of coming back and making this game interesting you had the feeling that with the running game going and Huss as a threat through the air a comeback win would be tough. Huss did a good job defensively at the defensive end position. He does well against the run and has shown great ability to rush the passer.
Farmington Players That Stood Out
#4 Cameron Pettaway | RB | 2024
Pettaway has legit breakaway speed and that was on full display Friday night. He does a great job of running between tackles and picking up tough yardage. I love how he quickly gets open and can create big plays in the open field. Pettaway kept the Bedford defense on their toes all night and was a guy they definitely needed to be aware of. Pettaway is only a junior and will be a key returner for the Farmington team next season.
#1 Dominic Pesci Dominic Pesci 6'6" | 215 lbs | QB Farmington | 2023 MI | QB | 2023
Pesci has key physical traits that you look for in a quarterback. He stands at 6-6, 215 lbs, and has a solid muscular build. He throws a beautiful deep ball and is not afraid to sit in the pocket and take a hit. I thought he played very composed in this game and did not panic when his team fell behind early. He is a guy who has gained college attention and was recently offered by Lawrence Technical University which he made public via Twitter.
