Baker is a no brainer FBS caliber kid at the next level and has taken over each game he has played in, win or lose. This weekend against a tough McClymonds squad loaded with talent, he passed for over 500 yards and 5 touchdowns while going 40/57 on the night. SRV is the early favorite to win NCS D-II and is one of the most balanced teams across the region this season.
Jaivian is one of the fastest backs California has, and he just torched one of the top teams in Northern California for over 250 yards rushing and 4 scores on Friday night. Thomas has elite speed in the open field, while showing a nice burst through the hole, strong contact balance upon contact and can make defenders miss in the open field while forcing them take bad angles and gains the edge when bouncing it outside. He is a elite runner with FBS talent and should only continue to pick up more offers.
WR Ethan Torres, Acalanes HS
Torres has quietly been having a very nice Fall campaign for a very explosive Acalanes team and put up solid numbers this past weekend. On four catches, he went for over 130 yards and a score while Acalanes cruised to a 42-0 win over a solid Las Lomas squad.
QB Drew Henderson, Berkeley HS
Henderson is one of the more under-rated signal callers across the Bay Area and the combination of him and receiver Jackson Harris Jackson Harris 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Berkeley | 2023 State CA has been excellent through the first half of the season. Friday night was no different as the Senior passed for 230+ yards and a score. Jackson Harris Jackson Harris 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Berkeley | 2023 State CA was in on around 200 of those yards at the receiving end, putting up very nice numbers as well.
QB Charlie Castaneda Homestead HS
Homestead has been rolling as of late, and recently picked up a nice win over mountain view which is a quality opponent. The ’24 quarterback passed for 243 yards and a score while showing his downfield arm talent, escapability in the pocket and the ability to throw the ball around to different weapons.
RB Emiliano Mejia, Los Gatos HS
Coming off a nice 42-20 win over Palo Alto, Mejia had a very nice showing and was solid all night running tough in-between the tackles, along with showing he can explode into the open field with cutback abilities when needed. He is twitchy when setting up defenders, follows his blocks while staying patient and is a compact tough runner, especially for his size.
Ty Richardson, Menlo School
Richardson had a big time performance over the weekend on both sides of the ball and showed that he will be one of the top available playmakers by the end of the season across the Bay Area. He went for over 200 APY, 1 INT, 2 PBU’s and 4 tackles while breaking away for a long touchdown. Watch out for Menlo as we get closer into the playoffs as they could see themselves in a CCS title game come November.
