<p>Saturday afternoon's contest between the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans and the Regis Jesuit Raiders was an evenly matched-competition between two formidable teams. The Raiders were the favorites coming into the game, but the Trojans pulled off an exciting upset. </p>

<p>Regis Jesuit was the first on the board with a touchdown pass connection between <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='150452' first='Exander' last='Carroll']</strong> (2023 QB/RB) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='169501' first='Dylan' last='McCollough']</strong> (2023 WR/K) with just under six and a half minutes to go in the first quarter. Both defenses would stand tall until <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='62220' first='Tai' last='Faavae']</strong> (2023 MLB/RB) scored a rushing touchdown for the Trojans with 9:21 left to play in the first half.</p>

<p>Only 20 seconds would come off the clock before the Raiders would respond with a 59-yard touchdown run on a jet sweep by McCollough, putting Regis Jesuit back on top. Fountain-Fort Carson tied the game at 14 points with a powerful touchdown run by quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='22751' first='Tavian' last='Tuli']</strong> (2023) halfway through the second quarter.</p>

<p>Tuli scored another rushing touchdown with just under 8 minutes left to play in the third quarter, which was the game's final score. Both defenses dug in for the remaining quarter and a half, giving the Trojans the upset win and securing their place in the postseason. </p>
