Isaac Hubert Isaac Hubert 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Creekview | 2023 State GA – 2023 – ATH – Creekview
Coming into the year, Hubert was one of the most highly regarded EDGE prospects in the state. Now, he has another notch to add to his belt as Creekview’s leading rusher in 2022. On the season, Hubert actually spent most of his time on offense as a bell-cow back for the Grizzlies, rushing for nearly 1000 yards on the year. We saw him go through, over, and around defenders all season. At the point of contact, Hubert delivers a jarring blow that is probably felt for weeks. Hubert is headed to Air Force, where he will likely play at his natural spot, the edge rushing spot. After all, he is 6’2 230 pounds of raw strength and explosiveness. For that reason, I expect him to be an impact player at the next level, and fairly quickly.
Jelani Thurman Jelani Thurman 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Langston Hughes | 2023 State GA – 2023 – TE – Langston Hughes
Thurman is an Ohio State commit and future NFL player. At 6’6 and around 230 pounds, he has a freakish frame and is physically just too much for opposing defenders. For his size, he is really light on his feet and can change directions with ease, this allows him to create separation and get open over the middle of the field. Where he really makes an impact is in the redzone, where he can make DBs look silly by rising up and winning jump balls. A 6’6 230 pound TE that can catch and run is starting to become more and more common, and Thurman looks to be the next in line to fit that description. A couple of years down the road, I think there is a very good chance that we see Thurman generating NFL draft buzz. A 6’6 230+ pound TE with his tools is just too much to pass on.
Brayden Holmes – 2023 – CB – Milton
I got some eyes on Holmes, a former Holy Cross commit, and was incredibly impressed at his physicality and downright aggression at corner. When you see his 6’0 frame with long arms, you are looking at the prototype player that you want as your press corner. Against Denmark, every rep was a physical rep. He gets right up in the grill of the receiver, and uses his long arms to stun them off the line. On top of his physicality, he is also fundamentally sound as well, doing a great job of mirroring his opponent and finding the ball in the air. His physicality is also on display when he is going to make tackles, as he has enough strength at contact to draw the ball loose from ball carriers. Lining up across a 6’0 corner that plays a violent brand of football is scary, and that is why Holmes made this list.
Elijah Griffin Elijah Griffin 6'5" | 270 lbs | DL Savannah Christian | 2025 State GA – 2025 – DL – Savannah Christian Prep
Elijah Griffin Elijah Griffin 6'5" | 270 lbs | DL Savannah Christian | 2025 State GA is a prospect that everyone should be aware of as he is already making waves nationally. In fact, he is rated by some in the industry as one of the best players overall in the 2025 class. It is hard to disagree with that. Already at 6’5 270 pounds, Griffin is a massive prospect and still has a couple of years of growth ahead of him. To go along with his size, he is a very explosive prospect that is able to rush the passer and generate a lot of momentum downfield in a hurry. Right now, Griffin spends a lot of his time at the DE spot, where he uses his speed and a nasty swim move to get around the edge and rush the passer. However, due to his size, he will probably play on the interior at the next level. His large frame and explosiveness will allow him to swallow up running lanes and draw double teams, which will free up his teammates. Along with all of his physical attributes, he also plays with great pursuit skills and has a high motor. Griffin is the kind of prospect that is always in the back of your mind as an opposing player, and he is just scratching the surface right now.
Ousmane Kromah Ousmane Kromah 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lee County | 2025 State GA – 2025 – RB – Lee County
For the past two seasons, Kromah has been dominating his competition and has solidified himself as one of the best 2025 backs in the country. Already at 6’2 210 pounds, Kromah is a massive RB prospect that does not lack any speed or explosiveness. With offers already in from schools like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and Tennessee, Kromah has already become a household name on the recruiting trail. With his size and explosiveness, he can generate a ton of momentum downfield, which means he often lowers his shoulder and bulldozers through would-be tacklers. He also has a nasty stiff arm that will leave defenders in a daze, Along with his physical attributes, he has Le’Veon Bell-type vision and can change direction smoothly. When you add in his promise as a receiver, it is evident that Kromah checks all of the boxes and is a nightmare for defensive coordinators.
Kaden Ellis Kaden Ellis 6'0" | 275 lbs | DL Cass | 2025 State GA – 2025 – DL – Cass
Ellis is a prospect that had been slowly creeping onto the radar for over a year, and he finally broke onto the scene in a big way this season. He has shown tons of growth physically as he is just a massive prospect on the defensive line, but it will be hard to find many defensive linemen in the state that are more explosive than him, and that is how Ellis separates himself. Ellis plays mostly at nose guard, anchoring the Cass defense, but shows the ability to line up anywhere on the defensive front. Off the snap, he wins with his first step explosiveness which generates tons of power and instantly creates penetration. When he doesn’t immediately win, he uses his hands to fight off blockers or utilizes a pretty impressive spin move. Either way, Ellis is almost 300 pounds of pure power and explosiveness and is a very fundamentally sound player. It’s just a matter of time before some schools come knocking, especially once they see his sophomore film.
