Kyrone Sims Jr. Kyrone Sims Jr. 6'1" | 230 lbs | LB Watson Chapel | 2023 State AR – Defensive End – Watson Chapel High School
Sims is a really great defensive end with the way he not only is physical but he has the finesse to really go along with his game. He is one of the more underrated guys that have stood out to me so far this season. He knows how to read his gap and to play with some great gap integrity. He is more of a pass rusher that I’ve noticed this season and I look forward to seeing him play this coming Friday against Vilonia.
William Staton – Center – Mills University Studies High School
Staton is a strong offensive lineman that likes to use it on the field. He has the ability and the strength to lead his offensive line the way a center should. He also has the ability to play through the whistle and finish his blocks. Looking over his film against Pine Bluff he was able to establish a good middle for the Rockets. Although the Rockets do have a bye week, I think that he’s still a player to watch for in the coming weeks.
Gus Wagley – Guard – Beebe High School
Wagley is a very strong lineman and knows his footwork and hand placement. He has the ability to finish what he the blocks he starts. He has great open field blocking across the board. This week he lines up against a good Robinson High School team that is weaker at the defensive line position, but, I think that he’ll do his job and be affective in his blocking.
Tanner Drew – Defensive Tackle/Guard – Robinson High School
Drew has been found in multiple positions around the field. Tanner has played Nose Guard, Guard, and Center. When he’s at nose guard he likes to fill the hole and sit and be patient. He knows gap integrity and is able to maintain it. On the offensive line he is a strong player. He uses his hands very well when matched up a opponents. All around he’s a great player in the trenches overall.
Cooper Darr Cooper Darr 6'4" | 220 lbs | DL Shiloh Christian | 2023 State AR – Defensive End/Offensive Line – Shiloh Christian High School
Darr is a great athlete on and off the field. He has a great personality off the field, but, he has the ability to flip the switch when it’s time to play ball. He is one of the more versatile players that I’ve watched and has the ability to be dominate. I’ve watched him be very dominate on the line of scrimmage playing tackle. He knows how to use his strength on both sides of the ball. Darr is a great defensive lineman as well. He has the shifty ability to to squeeze under blockers and have multiple TFL’s. This week he faces Pea Ridge and the Shiloh Christian team should pick the win up easily.
