WL -> #7
Scott was in the PRZ database on the watchlist over the offseason. Since this season’s start, he has jumped up to the #7 ranked QB in the state, leading Atholton to a undefeated record along the way. Scott holds 1 offer from the historic Morehouse College. This season Scott has thrown for 990 yards, 10 touchdowns, with only 1 interception. Miles is electric on his feet; he has rushed for 303 yards and 7 more touchdowns on the season so far. Expect to see Atholton and Miles make a playoff run later this season.
Highlights
WL -> #12
Catterton is another WL prospect from the off season. After having a solid year as one of the top passers in his region and transferring from South River to Broadneck, Camrin’s recruiting stock continued to rise. Broadneck previously was known for an electric passing game, Camrin came in and kept that offensive identity alive. So far, he has passed for 1,648 yards, 18 touchdowns, averaging 206 yards per game, on 112/168 passes. Along with this impressive play Camrin has led Broadneck to a 7-1 record, only losing to MIAA power Archbishop Spalding. He throws a good deep ball and is dangerous in the passing game outside the pocket. He has fluid hips and athleticism, allowing him to keep plays alive and make big throws vertically down the field. His arm talent is impressive, but he has yet to receive an offer. I strongly expect that to change over the last weeks of the season if he continues to play at a high level.
WL ->#16
Tre Manley Tre Manley 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2023 State MD was a watchlist prospect that took Douglass to be crowned state champion last season. He is a player who can do it all, he is very versatile in the back field. He can get the job done with his arm, legs and is a solid built player at 6’0 195lbs. Watching him in the championship game, he made good decisions with the ball and stayed composed, on top of displaying is arm and running talent. Manley jumped from WL to the #16 ranked QB in the state. Maley has led Douglass to a 7-1 record, with 609 pass yards, 10 touchdowns, 225 rush yards and 4 touchdowns.
WL -> #23
Koontz has been a QB under the radar since his sophomore year at Concordia prep. Since then, he’s grown and mad a lot of changes including positions and schools throughout his journey. He found his home at Long Reach, sat for a year, played some punter and tight end and is now the play caller for the lightning. He has helped lead Long Reach to a 6-2 record throwing for 1024 yards and 8 touchdowns.
