Covenant Day – ATH Alex Koulovatos – Alex is a very athletic playmaker on both sides of the ball for Covenant Day, but he had a lot of action in this Week 5 game on defense with 11 Tackles, and 3 Pass Breakups in their victory. On offense, he also had 130 total yards of offense. Alex stars primarily as a Defensive Back and Wide Receiver for the Lions who are undefeated so far this season.

Lincolnton – ATH Andrew Phelps – Andrew, like Alex, is an athletic playmaker on both sides of the ball for Lincolnton. He had an incredible performance with 3 Interceptions in one game, whereas most players are lucky to get 3 interceptions in one season! As if that wasn’t enough, Andrew also had 6 Catches for 90 Yards from the wide receiver position on offense and a 50-yard kickoff return. Andrew has shown exponential improvement in his career thus far, and I am excited to see him make more plays all over the field this season.

Mooresville – DB AJ Graham AJ Graham 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Mooresville | 2025 NC – AJ plays a very dynamic safety position for the Blue Devils, and in a big win over conference foe Cox Mill, AJ had two interceptions – the first being a tough catch off of a redirected tipped pass. The second one was a pick 6 on the last play of the game for the final 2 touchdown winning margin.

Pine Lake – QB/DB Nick Reid – Pine Lake is having a great season so far, and Nick Reid is one of the big reasons why. It’s tough to get just one Pick 6, but two in one game is almost unheard of! Yet, that is what Nick did in their victory over Mountain Island in Week 5. On top of that, Nick is also the team’s starting quarterback! He also had a rushing touchdown from the QB position in their victory.
