Each prospect featured in today’s piece was originally in the 2023 class, with two prospects recently reclassifying (Keith Sarkodeih & Michael Bonsu). Regardless of their class, each recruit in here has a ton of potential and, I believe, they deserve more attention. With a big 2022 season, their recruitments could change in the blink of an eye. The season is now in full go, and I’m sure they’re looking forward to showing what they’ve worked for this off-season. With that being said, here’s who you need to know!
Malik Diaby, 6′ 165, Tolland, CT
- Has instant acceleration after the catch.
- Is a dynamite returner that is tough to tackle in space.
- Shows an extensive catch radius that helps him adjust on poorly thrown balls.
- Speed eats up off-leverage corners.
Max Moss, 6’1″ 185, Archbishop Spalding, MD
- Is a well-versed route runner.
- Double moves create a ton of separation downfield.
- Is rarely brought down by the first tackle attempt.
- Catches the football and immediately looks to get vertical.
Michael Bonsu, 5’9″ 170, Dexter Southfield, MA
- Extremely crafty after the catch.
- Has loose hips for easy change of direction.
- Created a ton of explosive plays in 2021 on vertical throws downfield.
- Shows impressive vision as a kick returner.
Ty’renne Hynson, 6’2″ 175, Middletown, DE
- Can turn a quick game concept into a 60-yard-plus play.
- Seems to be unphased catching in traffic.
- Has soft hands, catching the football away from his body.
- Is a consistent safety valve for his quarterback when the pocket collapses.
Keith Sarkodieh Keith Sarkodieh 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Worchester Academy Prep | 2024 State New E , 6’2″ 185, Worcester Academy, MA
- Press releases are smooth and effective.
- Is a physical runner with the ball in his hands.
- Dominates against 1-on-1 coverage.
- Is a natural at creating separation on the go ball.
Josh Johnson, 6’2″ 170, Laurel, MD
- Tracks vertical throws quite easily.
- Has impressive contact balance carrying the ball through traffic.
- Takes pride in perimeter blocking and will literally drive cornerbacks out of bounds at times.
- Is a possession-type receiver that can work all three parts of the field.
Triston Ward, 6’1″ 190, Deerfield Academy, MA
- Can climb the ladder to make tough vertical catches.
- Seemingly always finds his way behind zone coverage.
- Knows how to find the short-intermediate holes in zone and can make tough contested catches in them.
- Ward catches everything thrown in his vicinity and will make his QB right.
