He has a great football IQ, which shows when you watch him play. Kohl looks to have a big senior season under the Friday Night Lights. In 4 games, Kohl has thrown for 822 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions, with a completion rate of 64 percent. Everyone knows Patton was a standout QB for the Roosevelt Roughriders a year ago. Now everyone knows how talented Patton is playing at the Athlete position. J.J. Kohl is standing as the Ankeny Hawks Quarterback, and Patton is the go-to receiver. In 4 games, Patton has 411 all-purpose yards, 27 receptions, 313 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, five carries, 51 rushing yards, with one rushing touchdown.
