For many high school programs in the state of Arkansas, being able to pass the ball and stretch the defense vertically is key to moving the football. We are going to take a look at the state's passing leaders after the first three weeks of the season. You can expect another update around week six on the passing, rushing, and receiving leaders.

[player_tooltip player_id='149543' first='Kel' last='Busby']-Pulaski Academy-2024

The Pulaski Academy signal caller is off to an extremely hot start to open the season for the Bruins. Pulaski Academy has always had an offense that can light up the scoreboard and this season does not appear to be any different. Busby has thrown for 1,192 yards, 12 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions on the season. Busby has displayed a willingness to use his legs, having rushed for 213 yards on the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='93816' first='Wesley' last='McKissack']-Vilonia-2023

Mckissack has done a great job of using his arm and his legs to pick up yards this season for the Eagles. Over the first three games of the season, Mckissack has thrown for 943 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions. He does an impressive job of throwing his wide receivers open. Mckissack is a prospect that does a good job of keeping his eyes down the field when he is scrambling with the football.

Achilles Ringo-Little Rock Mills-2024

The 2024 quarterback class is an impressive group. Little Rock Mills has a quarterback that has the arm strength and accuracy to hurt an opposing defense. Achilles Ringo has had no problem distributing the ball to his wide receivers this season. Ringo has thrown for 933 yards, eight touchdowns, and only two interceptions on the season. Look for Ringo and the Comets to continue to play impressive football this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='149580' first='Drake' last='Lindsey']-Fayetteville-2024

The Fayetteville signal caller has put on display a strong arm in the first three games of the season. Fayetteville has started off the season with a 2+1 record and looks to keep the momentum going into conference play. Lindsey has thrown for 709 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception. Look for Fayetteville to attempt to keep the momentum rolling into conference play over the next few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='75130' first='Cedric' last='Simmons']-Malvern-2023

The Malvern Leopards are off to a terrific 3-0 start. Simmons has the Malvern offense clicking on all cylinders. Simmons has a completion rate of 70% and is doing a great job of spreading it around to his wide receivers. He has thrown for 706 yards, four touchdowns, and only one interception. Look for Malvern as well as Simmons to continue the solid level of play.

[player_tooltip player_id='250016' first='Owen' last='Miller']-Harding Academy-2025

Harding Academy is a powerhouse and appear to be executing on both sides of the ball extremely well. [player_tooltip player_id='250016' first='Owen' last='Miller'] is an extremely accurate quarterback that can fit the ball into some tight windows. Miller has thrown for 705 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception. Miller is on a roll right now and will be a quarterback to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='178752' first='Hunter' last='Ferrell']-Bauxite-2023

The Bauxite signal caller has been executing the offensive game plan flawlessly over the past few weeks. Ferrell moves around in the pocket well and throws an accurate deep ball. He has thrown for 703 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions on the season. Bauxite and Ferrell are each playing impressive football as conference play approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson']-Central Arkansas Christian-2025

Closing out the top seven quarterbacks in terms of yardage in the state is [player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson']. Wilson is doing an impressive job of spreading the ball around this season as well. Wilson has thrown for 570 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions this season. Look for Wilson to continue to spread the ball around and make the tough throws look easy the rest of the season.
