Beau Bruins
Bruins seems to save his best performances for when he and Ramona play against their rivals across Central Ave. at Riverside Poly.
He had his best game of the season last week against the Bears, rushing for 212 yards on 16 carries with four touchdowns in a blowout win.
Last season, he ran for 271 yards and five touchdowns against Riverside Poly.
Eric Egere
Eric Egere
It’s rare to see a running back have a 300-yard game, but Egere managed to do that in a 42-20 win over Ganesha.
The 6-foot-3 running back ran for 314 yards on 20 carries with three touchdowns in the win.
He shattered his previous career-high for rushing yards in a game which was 236 yards in this season’s opener against Glenn.
Thomas Frum
Thomas Frum
Frum was instrumental in El Toro upsetting heavy-favorite Capo Valley last week.
The senior had 371 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns. As a rusher, he ran for 169 yards and four touchdowns.
Frum added a receiving touchdown and had a kick return touchdown over 90 yards. He scored the game-winning touchdown with under 30 seconds remaining in the game.
Los Alamitos had a breakout offensive game against a very good Santa Margarita team last week.
Everyone knows the stars in the Los Alamitos passing game, but the running game came through against the Eagles.
Henderson ran for a career-high 303 yards on 38 carries with five touchdowns. He is committed to Colorado State.
Jordan lost its top running back from last season due to transfer, but Washington has stepped up and done more than enough to fill the void.
Washington ran for 164 yards on just seven carries with three touchdowns in a dominant win over Wilson in the team’s Moore League opener.
He and his Jordan teammates will play Millikan this week in what should decide who gets second place in the Moore League.
