The game of football is physical and with it comes the ability to withstand contact week in and week out. These recruits below have already determined a gritty mind set that allows them to take to the gridiron field each week and help their team to victory by lowering the boom to any offensive weapon that crosses their path. College coaches love defenders who enjoy tackling. We feel it is a special trait to lead in this category and want to expose these young men so that colleges are aware.
“McSweeny is a 6’0” LB who delivers good impact when tackling. His awareness to run pass options are visible. He takes proper steps on snap of the ball to read the play. Comes up fast to fill the gap once he identifies ball carrier. Fights off blockers with good hand placement all while continuing to pursue the ball carrier. He currently has 26 tackles in 2 games this season.

Nealon Stemple
Stemple is a 5’11 195lbs LB from Marlborough, Ma. Shows toughness and grit on defense. He currently has 24 tackles in 2 games. He also plays RB. A physical player that enjoys contact. Fills the gap quickly and with force. Can run sideline to sideline with decent speed. Takes good angles when pursuing ball carriers on outside perimeter runs.
He maybe unknown outside New England, but he can deliver the blow. Scott is a 6’0″ LB that can fill and deliver a blow. He has good tackling form and can be seen moving the pile to finish the play. He has strength and utlilizes it well. Last season he lead his team with 111 total tackles, 15th in the state, 4 forced fumbles. This year he has 28 tackles in 2 games and on track to better his 2022 stats.
Coming off a junior year where he compiled 91 tackles and one force fumble, “Riker” is off to a good start in 2022. He could repeat or better his performance in 2021. He currently has 38 tackles in 3 games. He is 6’1′ and tough. He has good vision and awareness to know when to come up to fill his gap responsibility. Has good tackling form finishes his tackles.
Terrell is an interesting recruit. He stands approx 6’3″ and can move. He plays OLB and does a nice job on the edge play containing. He has the quickness to recover from over pursuing and still make the play. Shows aggression and fills nicely in run support. He has compiled 26 tackles on the season in 2 games. He also plays WR and has hands. Shows good athleticsm and frame to go with it.
