Continue ReadingAll of us at PRZ Nebraska have had a great time these first few weeks and I personally cannot wait for more. The full Swing of the season is here and there is nothing better than having 5+ straight weeks of football. Like I said at the beginning of the season we have had some amazing scheduling this year. Last week shows that. We have a few of the same teams as last week and week one. I am going to highlight new players for those teams and those games will definitely have an impact on the entire classes playoff future.
Week 2 Recap
Last week we had some huge rivalries and even some new matchups that were interesting and fun to watch. One of the most anticipated games of the year happened with the Papio Bowl down in Papillion. Papio South took on Papillion LaVista in their annual dual last week. It was a strong showing by the Titans. The game started close with The Monarchs going up by 3 by the end of the 1st. In the second Papio-South would score 8 points going up 8-5 for halftime. the rest of the game was all Titans with them scoring 21 more points to win the game. Our next game was between Grand Island and Omaha Westside. Westside took over this game going up 23-7 at halftime. In the third quarter Westside scored another two TDS. The Islanders would score 6 more with the final score being 37-13. Our final week two game comes from Aurora Nebraska where the Huskies took care of business against the Boone-Central Cardinals. The Huskies went up and won 34-13 another high scoring game.
