Standings “()” = League Record
East Lansing 5-1 (3-0)
This is what East Lansing has been building toward for quite some time. This is an extremely talented team led by a great group of seniors, including Evan Boyd Evan Boyd 6'3" | 195 lbs | WR East Lansing | 2023 State MI and Hayden Healey Hayden Healey 6'4" | 305 lbs | OL East Lansing | 2023 MI . Their win against DeWitt was incredible, and they have a grueling 3-game stretch to close out the season against Holt, Waverly, and Grand Ledge.
Holt 3-3 (3-1)
It’s been a strange season for Holt, as they’ve been blown out by Caledonia, Mason, and DeWitt, but won against Grand Ledge, who just beat DeWitt. If this team can get consistent, they have a playoff shot and they could win a game or two in the postseason.
Grand Ledge 5-1 (3-1)
I still don’t know how good this team is. I mean, they just beat DeWitt, but they also lost against Holt and won by a point against Jackson. I think Shawn Foster Shawn Foster 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR Grand Ledge | 2023 State MI at QB is interesting. It’s a classic “we don’t have a great QB, so we’ll put our best athlete there” type deal that sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t, and oftentimes brings us inconsistently. I’m extremely curious to see how far this team goes because Grand Ledge is surely making it to the postseason.
Waverly 4-2 (2-2)
Waverly sports a good offense, and these last 3 weeks are really going to put them to the test going up against East Lansing, Haslett, and DeWitt. They must feel good being where they’re at now, especially after a great week 1 win against defending state champion Lansing Catholic, though that team is 2-3 this season.
DeWitt 3-3 (1-2)
It’s extremely strange seeing DeWitt near the bottom of the Blue standings, but we knew this would be a bit of a down year for the powerhouse program. Still, 3-3 isn’t good for the Panthers, but they have an excellent shot to close out the season 3-0. This is still a shoo-in playoff team and a dangerous one at that.
Everett 2-4 (0-3)
Everett hasn’t played many good teams, and their two wins are non-league against bad programs. Not much to say for the Vikings.
Okemos 0-6 (0-3)
Unfortunately, Okemos recently forfeited their season due to low numbers.
