#1 RB AJ Green (5-10, 199) Junior – Green scored one first-half touchdown and one second-half touchdown in the win. “AJ played so well for us, ran the ball hard,” Freeman added. “He secured the ball, but we feel like if we give AJ the ball enough, good things will happen.” Green finished the game with 149 yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns. Green has enough breakaway speed to score on long touchdown runs. He can run between the tackles or has enough speed to run around the ends for a long run. Green can break a few tackles at any time with his size and speed. Besides being a suitable ball carrier, the junior RB can catch the ball out of the backfield for a big play. Green is an explosive runner that made two huge runs in the game. Green has an offer from Charlotte.
#5 OLB Jake Ivie Jake Ivie 6'0" | 180 lbs | LB Thompson | 2023 State AL (6-1 190) Senior – Ivie had the game-saving interception. With Clay-Chalkville driving late in the game, Ivie picked off a pass in Thompson territory that gave the win to the Warriors. “I was just on a QB spy and read his eyes,” said Ivie. “The senior linebacker had five tackles, one tackle for loss, and the interception in the win. On the season, Ivie has 41 total tackles and six tackles for loss. Ivie has been a critical player on the defense. The senior linebacker is an excellent tackler with great vision for a play. Ivie has good speed and can make plays in the opposing backfields. Excellent leadership skills have been developed during his time at Thompson.
#1 DB Anquon Fegans Anquon Fegans 6'0" | 165 lbs | DB Thompson | 2025 State AL (6-2 181) Sophomore – Fegans has six tackles, one fumble recovery, and one interception in the win. Clay-Chalkville came into the game averaging over 40 points a game and having two of the best receivers in the state. Fegans and the Warrior’s defense limited the Cougar’s passing game to only 154 yards in the game and those 14 points. The sophomore DB has long arms to deflect passes away from tall receivers and great leaping ability. Fegan is a great tackler and can play around the line of scrimmage at safety. Fegans is very fast that can change directions at ease. Fegans has excellent vision and can make the big play at safety. Fegans is one of the best 2025 high school players and will be one of the best defensive backs in the nation. Fegans has offers from about every D-1 college in the country, along with SEC schools Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, and many others.
Clay-Chalkville
#4 WR Mario Craver Mario Craver 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Clay-Chalkville | 2024 State AL (5-11, 155) Junior – Craver had nine receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown in the game. Craver has exceptional speed and quickness when he plants the foot in the ground and can quickly get around a defender. Craver has excellent hands and can make the big play anytime the ball comes his way. Craver can run reverses or can just run by defensive backs on a deep ball. Craver is a good route runner and will be a big catch for a team at the next level. Craver can return punts and kickoffs. The junior WR is one of the best receivers in the nation. Craver has Alabama, Tennessee, and Oklahoma as three of his favorite colleges.
#21 RB Aaron Osley (5-9 170) Sophomore – Osley made a big 75-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter against the Warriors. The sophomore running back finished the game with 112 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. Osley has been getting more playing time each week and should be a factor for the Clay-Chalkville run game. Osley has explosive speed and excellent vision for finding the open hole. Osley can catch the ball out of the backfield. A solid runner that doesn’t come down on contact, defenses need to wrap him up to get him down on the run. Olsey will have a future on the next level. He will be a D-1 runner with speed, power, and quickness. He likes to train and work on his craft regularly.
