It has some of the more deeply talented programs in the state, up-and-coming players, and even underrated programs. Because of this, we feel that Region 2 is going to be one of the most fun regions to watch, especially because there are plenty of unpredictable games around the corner. Because of this, we have no doubt that even though there are a few teams that have the edge, it won’t be over until the last whistle is blown.
Campbell
As harsh as it sounds, Campbell may be in for another rough season, specifically in their region. Last year, they finished 0-4 in their region, and 3-6 overall. This was largely due to the stiff competition that they had to face on a weekly basis, including the likes of Pebblebrook, East Coweta, and Newnan. While two of these teams will be returning for their region, we feel that they have a huge uphill battle, especially with the addition of teams such as Carrollton and Westlake. Expect Campbell to unfortunately finish last in their region next year.
Carrollton
Even though it will more than likely come down to a close game against Westlake, we feel that Carrollton will find a way to win their region when it is all said and done. Not only were they 6-1 in their previous region last season, but they are returning plenty of key players, and will even see the first high school season of their star QB,

, and Jacob Levy all match up incredibly well with some of the best talent that Westlake, and other programs have to offer. Because of this, look for them to find a way to schematically take advantage of any weaknesses that Westlake possesses, especially because they have a QB that can do so.
East Coweta
While East Coweta has gone on a run the past few years with a few successful teams, and high levels of talent, we are not convinced that they will be able to return next season in a fashion that will put them in a contending place to win their region. Their team will feature talented players such as
Aaron Fenimore

GA
, Trey Bowles, Christian Langford, and Zach Clayton, but we do not believe they have the depth, or firepower to beat the best teams in their region. Most likely, East Coweta will finish up around 4th place in their region.
Pebblebrook
Even though Pebblebrook is not as deep of a team as other teams in their region, they are still talented enough to give teams like Westlake, and Carrollton a run for their money. Not only did they finish 3-1 in their region last year, but they performed well enough to earn a playoff spot. This year, it will be very interesting to see how they match up with the mid-tier, and high level teams that they face, as we expect them to do decently well, especially with the likes of Craig Adams Jr,

Westlake
Not to be discredited in any way, Westlake has a fair chance of winning their region next year. If they do not do so, they will likely be the runner-up. They will be returning plenty of key players such as
Christian Peterson

. Even with all of this talent, we feel they are not as deep talent-wise as they have been in the past. Their defense will likely be one of the best in the state, but we are skeptical of how high-flying, and successful their offense can become. Nevertheless, having a returning starting QB is always huge, and ultimately, this could take them over the top in their region if they play their cards right.
