While this region has a huge addition of teams this year, we also feel that the competition level is more leveled than it has been before. Expect some unexpected twists and turns in the region this year, with teams from last year performing much better, and finding their way to the top of the list.
Drew
While Drew football may be in the same region this year, they do happen to have more teams that are along their level of competition that have joined their region. This may make it more competitive for them, especially considering the fact that they finished last season with a record of 2-5 in their region, with a season win-loss record of 3-6. Nevertheless, even though the competition level is more parallel this year, we do not think that Drew has the depth, talent, or coaching to defeat the top heavy teams in this region. Because of that, we believe that they will finish 5th in the region this year.
Harris County
Just as they did last season, we expect Harris county to compete very well within their region this upcoming year, and to even find a way to come out on top. This year, we think that it is their year to win the region, especially due to the fact that they came in third in their region last season to even better competition. Last season, they finished with a 4-2 regional record, and a finale of 7-5 for the season. In addition to this, Harris County will also be returning players such as Levi Watson, and

, which will certainly help them to finish strong.
McIntosh
Contrary to last season, we believe that McIntosh will turn things around in 2022, and have a bit of a better season than what they have had lately. Last season, they had a 1-6 record in their region, but things tend to be trending upwards for them, as they will be competing in a region that has less star power this upcoming year, especially in comparison to some of their returning players. For example, this upcoming season, McIntosh will be returning players such as

, Marcus Malone, and Simon Lewis, who tend to be very talented, and are of course spread out on both sides of the ball.
Northgate
What is sad, is this upcoming season, we expect Northgate to have one of the worst seasons that they have had in recent years. While they finished 2-9 last season, with a 1-5 record in the region, we fully expect them to lose in a similar manner this upcoming year, or to have a bit of a worse record. The talent in which they will be returning on their roster is as thin as it has been in years, and we believe there is plenty of uncertainty of the level of their potential performance on both sides of the ball. This year, look for them to finish in last place in their region.
Northside, Columbus
Even though Northside finished last season 1-5, and in poor position region wise, there is high hope for their potential this upcoming season. Not only due to their level of returning talent, but because of their regional experience, we feel that this is the year that they take a huge step forward. We believe that they have the coaching staff, and team to do so, as players such as
