Weekly Recruiting Report (Part Two)

<p>Steele Canyon running back [player_tooltip player_id='145237' first='Major' last='Givens'] announced his commitment to Montana State on Friday.</p>   <p>Givens rushed for 1,516 yards on 276 carries with 12 touchdowns last season for Steele Canyon. He also averaged 13 yards per catch with two touchdowns as a receiving back.</p>   <p>He was one of the best running backs at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January and was among the top running backs in every speed and agility category at the event.</p>   <p>Givens had eight other offers including Air Force, Army, Georgetown, Navy and Northern Arizona among others. He is the first player from California in Montana State's 2023 recruiting class.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/MajorGivens2/status/1555569308691865600?s=20&t=wYGjsKUWVjV6MDB88A4y1Q </div></figure>   <p>Pacifica (Oxnard) defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='145120' first='Maliki' last='Crawford'] announced his commitment to USC on Tuesday. </p>   <p>Crawford had 63 tackles and an interception for Pacifica last season. He is the No. 4 defensive back in the state and No. 19 overall prospect according to the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/california/rankings/2023-rankings/?position=DB">Prep Redzone rankings</a>.</p>   <p>He is 6-foot-3 and has long arms. He is so versatile and could be a corner or pack on more muscle and play safety. He was one of the top three defensive backs at the Under Armour Next All-American camp in March in my opinion.</p>   <p>Crawford was initially committed to UCLA last year but reopened his recruitment in January. Cal was considered a favorite for awhile but he visited USC recently and that visit convinced Crawford to commit to the Trojans. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/MalikiCrawford/status/1554558410607120385?s=20&t=Ar_hP8xZc8pzg42k-eUrpw </div></figure>   <p>Oakmont (Roseville) edge rusher [player_tooltip player_id='384771' first='Kyle' last='Stahlecker'] announced his commitment to Sacramento State last Saturday.</p>   <p>Stahlecker is 6-foot-5, 250 pounds and is a defensive end at Oakmont who also plays some tight end. He occasionally lines up as a 3-technique as well but is primarily a defensive end.</p>   <p>He had 30 tackles, 5 for a loss, 2.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.</p>   <p>Stahlecker also had offers from Air Force, Army, Cal Poly, Eastern Washington and Idaho. He also had 300 receiving yards with three touchdowns and helped lead Jordan to its first CIF championship game in school history.</p>   <p>He is 6-foot-3, 185 pounds and is expected to be the No. 1 running back for Los Alamitos this season.</p>   <p>Henderson also had offers from Arizona, Oregon, San Jose State and Washington.
