The talented signal caller passed for 170+ yards and tossed three touchdowns during week 1 of the season and showed that he can manage the game and be very efficient with the ball as he went over a 65% completion percentage with 0 interceptions.
QB Matt Irwin Matt Irwin 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Owyhee | 2024 State ID , Owyhee HS
One of the fastest rising Junior prospects across the state, Irwin had a nice showing during the opening week of the season as he got the win over Madison. He is an electric athlete out of the backfield with a strong arm and accuracy downfield, while able to fit the ball into tight windows and make plays on the ground and throw on a rope while scrambling.
RB Parker Rushton Parker Rushton 6'2" | 200 lbs | ATH Borah | 2023 State ID , Borah HS
Rushton is one of the best two-way players Idaho has to offer and is tough and physical from both his running back and linebacker spot. In week 1, he took 17 carries for 100+ yards and was running hard in-between the tackles while showing good pad level, leg drive and delivering a blow upon contact. Active on defense, he will be the best player on the field most weeks and started his season off strong.
RB Trenton Fisher, Homedale HS
Fisher had an unbelievable Week 1 performance and picked up right where he left off in 2021. He carried the rock 17 times for 153 yards and tacked on another 6 touchdowns on the ground. He is a very compact and physical runner that can also evade tacklers in the short area with some wiggle and shows natural forward lean and a low pad level through contact. He is well on his way to having a 1k+ yard season for Homedale and is a D-III+ caliber college player at the next level.
LB Shea Robertson Shea Robertson 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Coeur D'Alene | 2024 State ID , Meridian HS
Robertson was all over the field in week 1 and to no surprise, he is going to be a big time problem on defense this season. He is very physical and athletic that can make tackles outside the box while having a quick trigger when shooting the gap and brings a nice thump at contact. He racked up 10 tackles and 1 TFL on Friday night and should see FBS and FCS interest come his way through the season and into next off-season.
TE CJ Jacobsen CJ Jacobsen 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Rocky Mountain HS | 2023 State ID , Rocky Mountain HS
Jacobsen did not disappoint as he erupted for over 100 yards receiving and 1 touchdown while showing that he is a smooth route runner and a big time target downfield with big hands and can make contested catches. He is one of the top uncommitted prospects on the Western Region and currently holds 15 offers.
