A lot of great players had some great performances in Week 1 in the Charlotte Metro Area - let's take a look at them:

JM Robinson – ATH [player_tooltip player_id='346876' first='Daevin' last='Hobbs'] – Two Touchdowns in 33-15 loss to Independence - Hobbs displayed the incredible athleticism that has him receiving offers from multiple Power 5 schools this season. And to do it at 6'4 and 250 + pounds was really incredible. He looks like he could be just as good at tight end or on the defensive side of the football in all honesty.

Independence – QB Justin Little – 3 TD Passes, 224 passing yards, and 90 rushing yards in 33-15 victory - Little is a 2025 prospect who has a strong arm and great accuracy already in his career. He's being tutored by another former great Independence QB in DJ McFadden as his head coach, so I think this is the start of a really good career for a player we will be talking about over the next couple of years in Charlotte.

Draughn – QB [player_tooltip player_id='117960' first='Elijah' last='Tillery'] – 217 yards passing, 2 TDs, 1 Rushing TD, 80 yards in victory - Tillery just had a visit this past Saturday Night up at UNC Chapel Hill and the 6'6 QB with a strong arm and dual-threat skills should continue to receive college interest from multiple schools throughout this season.

Crest – WR [player_tooltip player_id='353087' first='Javarius' last='Green'] – 3 TD catches and 139 yards receiving in victory over Freedom - Green has been electric all summer and the new-look Chargers spread offense has definitely benefitted him and his recruiting exposure. He is electric with the ball in his hands and can run away from man coverage very well. He has an offer from South Florida currently and interest from other schools.

Chambers – QB [player_tooltip player_id='44982' first='Anshon' last='Camp'] – (Bubba) Over 350 total yards of offense and 2 TDs in victory over Cardinal Gibbons - The Old Dominion commit showed off incredible athleticism and agility all day long as he helped carry his team to victory. The Gibbons defense could not contain Camp in the pocket and he routinely broke loose for big gains running and making nice throws outside of the pocket.

Ashbrook – RB [player_tooltip player_id='104091' first='Carmelo' last='Bess'] – 58-yard Punt Return TD, 164 rushing yards & TD in the victory over Concord - Bess has an electric ability with the ball in his hands and can make you miss in a phone booth and run away from you. His recruitment has been slow developing, however, if he continues to turn in these kinds of performances then college coaches will have no reason but to offer him.
