He is listed at 6’0 190 pounds in the Class of 2025, think he has a bright future as he continues to grow.
Porter Ridge – LB Harrison Johnson – 10 tackles, 3 TFL, Receiving TD in victory – Harrison Johnson shined brightly when we covered him during the camp season over the summer, and he continues to impress here in Week 1 with a dominant performance. He showed his impressive closing speed all over the field and even helped out on offense with a TD reception. 6’2 205 pounds in the Class of 2024, I feel like offers will start coming his way sooner than later.
Hickory Ridge – DL Alexander Bailey Alexander Bailey 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Hickory Ridge | 2023 State NC – 2.5 Sacks and Forced Fumble in victory over Huss – Listed at 6’2 and 210 pounds, Bailey plays the EDGE position which is a hybrid Defensive End/Outside Linebacker that has become so popular in the era of spread offenses. Bailey shows excellent speed rush moves off of the line of scrimmage and puts immediate pressure on quarterbacks. He currently holds an offer from Ferrum College.
Chambers – LB Jordan Thompson Jordan Thompson 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Chambers | 2023 State NC – Several impact plays and excellent leadership in victory over Gibbons – Jordan recently committed to Middle Tennessee State University, and they are getting a special player. While Chambers has a lot of offensive talent, Thompson is the defense’s heartbeat at the linebacker position. He had 2 sacks and what would have been a fumble recovery for a touchdown if not for a penalty. Thompson flies around all over the field on defense and also helps out on offense at running back. He is a leader also and as he goes, the Chambers defense goes, which is usually really well.
Independence – DL Josh Iseah Josh Iseah 6'3" | 240 lbs | DL Independence | 2023 State NC – Multiple tackles and a sack to end Robinson’s comeback attempt in victory – Iseah has interest from multiple schools and offers from The Citadel, Johnson C. Smith, Catawba, Presbyterian, and Wingate. At 6’3 and 240 pounds, Iseah should some great leadership and rose up big when the game was on the line. I’m excited to see him continue to excel in his senior season.
