<p><strong>10. Mekhi Travis, Jordan</strong></p>   <p>Travis is a dual threat guy who ran for 191 yards and three touchdowns for a Jordan team that reached the CIF championship game for the first time last season. He also threw for 1,244 yards and 12 touchdowns. He threw three touchdown passes against Cabrillo. Jordan has a new coaching staff that specializes in offense so we will see how well Travis adapts.</p>   <p><strong>9. [player_tooltip player_id="261808" first="Nehuel" last="Garcia"], La Mirada</strong></p>   <p>Garcia is lengthy at 6-foot-3 and has some upside. He completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,607 yards with 15 touchdowns and 9 interceptions last season. He also ran for four touchdowns. His best game last season came against Chaffey where he completed 71 percent of his passes for 216 yards and a pair of touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id="219817" first="Brayden" last="Downen"], Lakewood</strong></p>   <p>Lakewood is a high-volume passing offense and that shows how much the coaching staff trusts Downen. He threw for 2,016 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran for nearly seven yards per carry and had six touchdowns on the ground. He takes a lot of risks with the ball which is why he had 12 interceptions. [player_tooltip player_id="384805" first="Dieter" last="Barr"], St. Pius X-St. Matthias</strong></p>   <p>Barr had better numbers than any high school quarterback in the Long Beach area and was always among the top passers in the Southern Section. He threw for 3,353 yards with an insane 55 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He has a lower release, almost like a sidearm like Philip Rivers, but he has undeniable arm talent. He could improve his accuracy, but he is getting better in that regard. [player_tooltip player_id="39430" first="Darius" last="Cowens"], Warren</strong></p>   <p>Cowens just led Warren to a surprising second place finish at the Mission Viejo passing tournament a few weeks ago. The transfer from Pacifica was spreading the ball around nicely and he has incredible timing and chemistry with his old Pacifica teammate [player_tooltip player_id="147762" first="Jordan" last="Ross"]. Shortly after the event, it was announced that [player_tooltip player_id="25390" first="Nico" last="Iamaleava"] transferred back to Warren so it will be interesting to see what happens to Cowens, but he is more than capable of leading the offense.
