Cade Uluave Cade Uluave 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Mountain Ridge | 2023 State UT : ILB.HB / 6’1/225lbs / Mountain Ridge HS Sr.
Uluave is a big athletic linebacker with good speed and burst. Has good strength at the point of attack and shed blockers to make the tackle. Good lateral quickness to move to sideline to sideline and has ball instincts to drop back into coverage. His highlight of the night came when he burst up the middle for a 80 yard TD run leaving the whole Wasatch Defense behind him.
Semisi Kinikini: HB,SS / 5’10/ 180lbs / Mountain Ridge HS Jr.
Kinikini is a quick athletic runner that shows patience and vision in the backfield. An elusive ball carrier that can dodge defenders on inside runs and has good speed and acceleration to turn the corner on the outside. Kinikini was able to score 2 TDs, one for 31 yards and the other for 4 yards.
Chase Higham Chase Higham 6'4" | 275 lbs | DL Mountain Ridge | 2023 State UT NG, OG / 6’3/ 280lbs/ Mountain Ridge HS Sr.
Higham is a 2 way starter that has the size and ability to play both positions. Plays with good explosion off his stance and leg drive sustaining and finishing his blocks contributing to Mountain Ridges effective run game last night. Shows stoutness at the point of attack, stays discipline at the line of scrimmage, and good ability to hold a double team.
Chris Cook: HB / 5’10/ 180lbs / Wasatch HS Sr.
Cook is a athletic ball carrier with a solid muscular frame. Has good burst and speed to come out the backfield. Good elusiveness to avoid tacklers, shows his physicality by being tough to bring down, and has the speed and acceleration to turn the corner. Shows good hands as a receiver coming out the backfield making a valuable offensive weapon. Cooks highlight of the night came when he scored a 75 yard run showing speed and acceleration to burn defenders.
Crew Erickson: WR / 6’1 / 185lbs/ Wasatch HS Sr.
Erickson is tall lean athletic receiver that has initial quickness to play the position. Has strong hands and athletic ability to avoid tacklers after the catch. Erickson’s highlight of the night came when his coach chewed him out on the sideline and responded by scoring a 75 yard TD running a slant route and showing his speed and acceleration on the play.
