- West Rowan
- Northwest Cabarrus
- Concord
- Carson
- Central Cabarrus
- South Rowan
- East Rowan
A player to watch from each team is listed here below, with a brief thought about their game:
West Rowan – WR Peter Simpson – A 6’0 170-pound WR who has some college interest from local schools – a definite playmaker every time the ball is in his hands.
Northwest Cabarrus – WR Tevin Tucker – Committed to James Madison, he is a dynamic receiver on the outside that a defense has to account for on every play.
Concord – ATH Keyon Phillips – Keyon will play some quarterback, running back, receiver, and defensive back for the Spiders this year. An important part to their success.
Carson – ATH Trevor Vaughn Trevor Vaughn 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB Jesse Carson | 2024 State NC – Trevor plays Wide Receiver and Safety for the Cougars. He can make catches on the outside in one on one situations and is a ballhawk at DB.
Central Cabarrus – RB Michael Forney – Forney is a talented running back who is probably the best one in the conference. He will complement the Vikings passing attack well.
South Rowan – QB Jamie Klassette – Returning QB will be an important piece for the Raiders to try and move up the conference standings.
East Rowan – OL Caleb Shugart – Big right tackle will help anchor the Mustangs offensive line this season.
Overall, this conference is wide open – this was a tough conference to predict last year, and it’s the same this season. West Rowan has been the most consistent team over the years, but Northwest Cabarrus has a lot of talent that has grown up together. Concord are the defending champs. Carson is in a similar place to NW Cabarrus. And Central Cabarrus may have the best QB/RB combo in the league. Not to mention, South Rowan also has a lot of young guys growing together as well.
Projected Playoff Teams: West Rowan, Northwest Cabarrus
