Wells is a defensive back that has the potential to skyrocket up the rankings. He is very versatile. He has the ability to play outside corner, as a deep safety, and even line up as a nickel corner. He tracks the ball well in the air and puts himself in a position to make a play. He has great speed. He also likes to be aggressive and come downfield to blow up screens and short pass plays.
Highlights
Cox has transferred to Wise and looks to be an impact player right away. He is a corner that excels in press-man coverage. He does a good job of hand fighting and getting his hands on receivers without committing any penalties. When the ball is in the air he does a good job of playing through the receivers hands to knock the ball loose. This makes him very good in contested ball situations.
Bostic is a corner with all the tools to develop into a lockdown boundary corner. He has a great frame as he is tall and has long arms. He has great closing speed and is able to close down space and make a play. He has great feet and is able to stay with receivers when they make a cut. He sticks to receivers like glue as he does a great job of staying connected.
Gardener is a linebacker’s best friend. He does a fantastic job of coming downhill in run support. He makes a lot of stops in the run game. In the passing game, he likes to lay big hits on receivers in an effort to jar the ball loose.
