Hopefully the young men around the state are cherishing the true brotherhood that is fall camp. No school to worry about just the promise of an amazing year on the gridiron. Enjoy!
Connor Fourier- (Maple Grove High School) 6’0 175lbs. C/o 2023. @Connor_Fournier
Connor is a kid with a soccer background but an injury led him to kicking for football. He has great accuracy on field goals and can also kick off and punt. Maple Grove has a plethora of riches with multiple specialists vying for opportunities but Connor can do it all. He has natural power and leg speed developed from being a high level soccer player.
Leighton Keilen Leighton Keilen 6'5" | 160 lbs | K Lakeville South | 2023 State MN – (Lakeville South High School) 6’7 172lbs. C/o 2023. @KeilenLeighton
Leighton has just recently put his main focus on punting. As you can see by his measurements this is a young man with extremely long levers. When he hits it right the ball explodes off of his foot. This is a high ceiling kid who has a chance to be special through hard work. With added consistency Leighton has a will be able to catch the eyes of college coaches.
Franklin Schwendimann- (Orono High School) C/o 2023
Franklin is new to kicking but is an extremely fast learner. He is a talented soccer player who is transitioning to kicking which means he is only going to get better as the year progresses. His leg speed and ball striking is phenomenal. He has the beginings of excellent power and accuracy. This is yet another great upside guy who could kick at the college level.
Daniel Jackson- (Alexandria High School) C/o 2025. @d_r_jackson
Daniel is the only underclassmen I have added to this first series of articles in regards to specialists. As you can guess there is a reason for this. I expect this will be a name many in the state will know in the ensuing years, he has one of the best legs in the entire state and is only a sophomore this fall. If his work ethic matches his talent he could certainly be going places.
