Current Offers: Marist, PWO Eastern Michigan, Clarion, Wheeling, Bluefield Statern Chase Arrington Chase Arrington 5’10” | 180 lbs | DB North Catholic | 2023 State PA lands as one of the highest ranking defensive backs left unsigned. Arrington, a prospect who is finally seeing FCS attention, received an FBS grade from me as recently as this Summer. Touted as one of the few DBs in PA that didn’t give up a score last Fall, Arrington ranks high for his contributions on offense, a factor many can’t say on this list. I expect Arrington to have a definitive senior season, possibly placing as a top 10 DB by its end.
Highlights
Current Offers: Seton Hill, Sacred HeartrnExpect Harper’s role on offense to expand. Expect recruitment to expand with it. Hard to believe a DB with his length and size only has two offers at the moment. Especially considering the talent he faces weekly in the PCL. Sacred Heart extended an opportunity, look for more FCS schools to check in this Fall.
Current Offers: Sacred Heart, rnHere’s another name that should be a staple on FCS boards in the Northeast area of the nation. It was like pulling teeth to eventually get Dayshawn going last Fall, happy to see Daimon have a starting point before the season’s start. The young man should have confidence in himself regardless of the fact. Expect the recently acclaimed captain to hold All-League honors yet again this Fall.
Current Offers: UnofferedrnTough to see Sangster still unoffered at this time. Not a huge deal considering he still has ample time to get D2s comfortable enough to extend an offer letter. I think the young man has FCS potential. Whether I’m off on my grade or not, those looking for defensive backs should put Sangster on their radar. Reps on offense should be on his plate again this Fall.
Current Offers: Wayne State, Notre Dame CollegernOne of the better pure corners on this list. Ball awareness and tracking are a plus. Active hands at the catch point prove to act as another plus. His size checks out, so does his competition. Rylan Jeter Rylan Jeter 6’0″ | 180 lbs | DB Central Valley | 2023 State PA also flexes experience, playing a huge role in leading CV to a state title last Fall. Other traits to take notice of, being an Honor Roll student and also plays multiple sports at Central Valley.
Current Offers: Seton HillrnMy goal is to put as few names on my unoffered pieces as I possibly can. I am happy to finally take Stepney’s name off of said list. Stepney saw his first collegiate opportunity come from Coach Day out of Seton Hill University late this past June. I’m hoping, more than anything, that this notion instills confidence in Stepney moving forward. Said confidence could do wonders to his game, thus improving his tape, giving more colleges the confidence to send offers his way. Schools aren’t thrilled with DBs who are under the 5’11 threshold, Stepney’s experience and fortitude at corner should expel any notions of a deficient corner.
Current Offers: UPennrnThe ever-versatile defensive back out of Annville-Cleona is still unsigned. His holding off on a potential decision makes sense, considering his talent and tape are worthy of a few more FCS nods. As we talked about in previous pieces, Long might be better suited to play linebacker at the next level. He and his family can at least say he has experience at both positions, a huge plus that should act in his favor.

Current Offers: Virginia StaternAnother prospect that I am thrilled to take off my unoffered lists. We’ve been beating the drum to get this kid looked at by someone, Virginia State was first to acknowledge what Elijah Beaty Elijah Beaty 6’0″ | 170 lbs | DB Bonner-Prendie | 2023 State PA brings to the table. Alert, physical and can run with pretty much any prospect in the PCL, Beaty should garner looks from FCS schools, considering he meets height/weight requirements and has tape to back up his game. There aren’t too many prospects that wow through camp clips on Twitter, Beaty’s offseason clips do just that. There is clear physical growth to be seen as well when speaking on his frame. The young man has a chip on his shoulder bigger than anyone on this list. Expect programs like Sacred Heart, Bryant, and LIU to make a run at the new senior captain at Bonner.
Current Offers: UnofferedrnReaves has some of the best hands and playmaking ability on this list. He is still unoffered. Could be, most likely, because of his size, yet his junior tape couldn’t do more to help coaches lean in favor of his game. The kid plays with an attitude, exactly what you’d want from your starting corner. I personally want to rank Reaves a tad bit higher, yet his lack of recruitment makes doing so difficult. From a pure ball skills perspective, no one on this list, outside of Arrington can hold a candle to Reaves. Excited to see what he has in store this Fall.
