Ja’elyne Matthews Ja’elyne Matthews 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Toms River North | 2025 State NJ , Toms River North 2025
The state of New Jersey has been blessed with great offensive line talent and you can add Matthews as the next great prospect. Holding over sixteen offers from colleges like Penn State, Miami, Tennesee, and Nebraska. Matthews has all the measurables and athleticism that division one Power 5 colleges look for. Standing at 6’6 300lbs Matthews is an intimidating presence on the football field playing both the offensive and defensive lines. He plays with great leverage and power and as an offensive lineman has great feet and hands.
By the time Matthews is a senior, he will have an offer from just about every Power 5 college in the nation. BATB will be some people’s first opportunity to witness a future potential NFL prospect.
John Stone John Stone 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Washington | 2023 State NJ , Washington Township 2023
Stone is another solid offensive line prospect. Committing to the University of Rutgers, Stone has some of the best tape in terms of blocking on the move and in space. Stone is especially impressive when blocking on zone blocking schemes. Showing the ability to make reach blocks as a play side tackle and work up to the second level and find work. He has some solid pass-blocking reps playing with great leverage and showing solid anchoring ability. Very impressive how he handles stunts and twists which is transferrable to higher levels of football. Stone will be one of the top offensive linemen of the weekend.
Eric King Eric King 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL St. Peter's Prep | 2023 State NJ , St.Peter’s Prep 2023
King plays tackle but will be best suited to play guard at the next level. He has a thick lower half that he knows how to use to gain leverage and power. He is a pancake artist and look for him to throw around opposing defensive linemen.
Jake Ellis Jake Ellis 6'1" | 280 lbs | OL Cherokee | 2023 NJ , Cherokee 2023
Leverage is not a problem for Ellis as he plays with some of the best leverage in this class. Standing at 6’1 285 he has some of the best reps in terms of anchoring in pass protection and uses his squatty frame to his advantage. He has a noticeably quick first step when run blocking and can quickly get off the ball. We’re expecting a solid performance from Ellis at BATB.
Benjamin Pittman Benjamin Pittman 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Salem | 2023 State NJ , Salem 2023
The self-proclaimed pancake king looks to make a strong statement at BATB. Standing at 6’2 with a 6’6 wingspan Pittman knows how to use his length to his advantage. He’s a solid pass blocker and consistently wins with good hand placement and great leverage. He has a solid set of feet and is more technical than the average high school offensive lineman. He currently holds no offers, but if he remains consistent we believe he can earn an FCS scholarship playing center/guard.
