As one of the more productive interior linemen in the state, Jackson has the size and skill to anchor a defense. The Andalusia product has enough size to absorb double teams and strength to break through to make plays in the backfield. He’s very physical at the line of scrimmage and shows good hand placement and strength when working through blocks or disengaging blockers. In addition, Jackson shows slid quickness for his size and is mobile enough to get after the QB as an interior pass rusher. He does a great job of working off the long arm and countering from it. With offers from Jackson State, Florida State, Maryland, and Mississippi State, among others, look for Jackson to continue to be a dominant force in the middle and continue to gain power five offers.

Marshall is an interior lineman with great quick twitch for his size and can create instant pressure and collapse pockets. Though he’s nearly 300 pounds, Marshall has solid closing speed and make plays in the backfield. Of course, as an interior lineman, he shows a high level of physicality. With great upper body strength and excellent hand placement Marshall can shred blocks at the point of attack and be favored in most one on one matchups. With offers from Eastern Kentucky, Alabama State, and Florida A&M, among other- it’ll be no surprise if Marshall adds to his offer list with his stellar play.

Swain is a rangy athlete who shows explosiveness and the potential to develop into a blue chipper. He has a great first step, wiry strength, and closing speed to be a dominant presence on the edge. He can beat guys to the spot, shoot gaps, and even take on blocks with physicality and punch above his size when needed. This diverse skillset is impressive given he’s in the class of 2025. With another offseason to hone his craft, look for Swain to convert QB pressures into sacks, generate more tackles for losses, and take a step towards being an elite edge guy within the state.
Highlights
Cooper is a defensive end that can affect the run and pass. The Montgomery Academy product brings toughness, burst, size, and versatility and is a top-flight defensive playmaker in the region. With an excellent first step and a couple of pass rush moves in his bag, Cooper can generate pressure on the edge. He also shows a great motor and can win with second efforts and chase down sacks. In the run game, he’s a tackle-for-loss machine and is very comfortable making tackles in the open field. He does a great job of working through blocks, finding the ball, and making plays. As an all-around player, look for Cooper to be a top-tier playmaker at his position and continue his production throughout the season.
