Caden Arrington, RB, Laurel
Caden and his team did not mess around with the Meridian Wildcats Friday. They handled those guys pretty heavily and Caden was a major help in that. He had over 200 yards rushing and 4 TDs. With the speed that he has you can expect big games from him all season.
Dante Dowdell Dante Dowdell 6'2" | 215 lbs | RB Picayune Memorial | 2023 State MS , RB Picayune
Dante had some major runs for Picayune the other night. He also added on a couple of touchdowns. We all know he will be a heavy load to deal with this season. This Oregon commit was making some plays that smaller guys making. He was toe tapping on the sideline keeping himself inbounds for touchdowns and running over people. Dante is the truth.
Xzavion Quick Xzavion Quick 5'10" | 205 lbs | RB Florence | 2024 State MS , RB, Florence
Had 8 carries for 136 yards with two touchdowns in the Eagles 42-6 win over Pelahatchie. This guy was helping his put up some points in their one-sided victory Friday night. His last name does him a lot of justice. He is quick and active on the football field. Look for his name to be mentioned a lot this season.
Tommy Kelly, Jr., Provine, LB
Had 12 total tackles, five tackles for loss, a sack and scored the game winning touchdown run in the Rams 12-6 overtime win over Gautier. This is a LB who brings the load when he tackles. You don’t want to be tip toeing when he is on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Kelly is very aggressive and he knows how to read keys.
Ayden Williams Ayden Williams 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Ridgeland | 2023 State MS , WR, Ridgeland
Had 9 catches for 163 yards with two touchdowns in the Titans 29-27 win over Northwest Rankin. Ayden can be a bully when is on the island. He was explosive this Saturday picking up good passes from his QB. The way that he is performing, Ridgeland has a great chance to make a deep playoff run. Him and Boone are a lot to deal with every Friday night.
