Here is a piece being published in a two part preview of top talented New England recruits we are evaluating as “Athletes” after their solid sophomore campaign’s in 2021. An “Athlete” is a player with well-rounded skills that enable them to play multiple skilled positions on the field. We identified these young men for their superior athletic skills shown early in their Varsity campaigns. As a result of their early successes, we feel with growth and future development these athletes will easily become top recruits within New England Region that many college coaches will want to know about if they don’t already know about them today.
He is as solid as they come!!! He has early recognition on the defensive side of the ball but with future growth and development, he could fill other skill positions at the next level. On film, he displays being a violent defender who enjoys giving the hit before taking it. Has good game speed and reacts well to receivers attempting to run routs in zone defenses with his help over the top. A projected D1 prospect who already has D1 power 5 offers. He is currently our number 1 ranked “athlete” in the Prep Redzone New England region. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16055881/61656a12041f4004e8f3e454
“Rief” defines aggression. He can play HB, FB LB and with additional future growth will likely have his choice to decide at the next level. On offense he shows his ability to be a good blocker and runner. His has good agility for his size and is on display when running the ball by cutting away from defenders. He is physical and on carries he finishes most runs by attacking the defender while protecting the ball. He had a good summer camp appearance and even earned running back MVP at @ArmyWP_Football camp. On defense, he is a sideline to sideline tackler. He has so much up swing potential and is as gritty as they come. We project many schools will be following up after a solid Jr. season of play. He is currently our number 2 ranked “athlete” in the Prep Redzone New England region. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/14632030/soren-rief

Watching his film was a pleasure. “Morgans” gridiron skills are super. He has next level speed already and he can play both DB and WR. On Defense he does a great job on run support needed plays by coming up with a physical presence when needed. He is a great defender who does well by going up high to get the ball. While doing so, he has shown he will likely come down with the ball. He has this same skill set while playing receiver also. His hands are solid. He currently ranked as our 3rd best athlete in the 2024 New England region. His recruitment will likely blow up with college interest during his upcoming jr season or immediately thereafter. He is currently our number 3 ranked “athlete” in the Prep Redzone New England region. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/profile/16676507/dhallas-morgan

During McCray’s sophomore season in 2021, he compiled 449 yards of offense at the WR position and 30 solo tackles on defense from the DE position. Those accolades earned him All ISL Honors and All NEPSAC honorable mention as a sophomore. His film shows he has a high ceiling as he will likely get much bigger faster and stronger before any colleges get him on their campus. He is a smooth rout runner thats gives a nice target to his qb. Solid hands are also visible. On defense he plays the edge well with a motor. He plays to the whistle and seems to always put himself in positions to make plays. He is currently ranked as our 4th best athlete in the 2024 from the New England region. A solid Jr season could be a breakout college interest year in 2022.
