Now, here are 3 Defensive Linemen with Something to Prove!
Jokisch is coming into the 2022 season as a Team Captain and in great shape at 6’3″, 235lbs. He’s a great run-stopper and is often able to outmuscle opposing lineman to get to the ballcarrier. Though, if Jokisch improves his footwork and hand usage, he’ll get much more attention. 4.5 sacks in 7 games isn’t bad by any means, but for someone his size, he has the potential to be a game-wrecker and be a sack-per-game player against any competition. I’m not sure what camps Jokisch attended this offseason, but I hope to see improvement in key fundamental areas, because if he lives up to his potential, he’s a MAC Lock.

This is a DRIVEN athlete who’s worked his tail off this offseason. Putting his name on the map at the PRZMI Prospect showcase, Royce immediately received an offer from Lawrence Tech before having an incredible offseason, recently being offered by Ferris State. Still, Royce remains driven. At the showcase, he displayed quick, violent hands with equally great footwork, beating of the best O-Linemen in the state. I’m excited to see what he can do this Fall!
