Keon Tucker, WR/DB, Noxapater
Keon was lights out Thursday of last week. He had 7 catches, 113 yards and a TD. He also had an interception, forced fumble and 8 tackles on defense. We all know most of the 1A guys in MS have to line up and play ball throughout the whole night with hardly any breaks. Expect these type of stats from him all season. He is a big time player on their time.
Trevon Brown, RB, South Delta
Had 11 carries for 100 yards with three touchdowns in the Bulldogs 26-16 win over Humphreys County. A nice RB who has a well-known name around the Delta. A lot of folks from there are looking for him to pop off a big season. I would not be surprised to see that.
Daniel Hall, WR, South Delta
Had 3 catches for 106 yards with a touchdown in the Bulldogs 26-16 win over Humphreys County. He turns on the burners when he catches the ball. He will be a key piece to help South Delta be a force in 1A. You don’t often see a lot of big receiving numbers when you watch 1A games. He has the potential to be a smaller school guy to put up big numbers in the air.
Tre Gunn, RB/DB, Biggersville
Had 100 all-purpose yards with two touchdowns and had three interceptions on defense in the Lions 40-14 win over West Lowndes. He is an athlete that shined all basketball season helping Biggersville get to state in baseball. Now he is back to do the same in football. He has some crazy athletic ability. They had an impressive win over West Lowndes last week.
Jathan Hatch Jathan Hatch 6'1" | 190 lbs | WR Biggersville | 2024 State MS , RB, Biggersville
Had 9 carries for 230 yards with a touchdown in the Lions 40-14 win over West Lowndes. It was a big night rushing the ball for Hatch. Guy averaged almost thirty yards a carry last week. That is beyond impressive. His explosiveness will be big for Biggersville this season.
Jude White, RB, Thrasher
Had 17 carries for 174 yards with three touchdowns, converted a two-point conversion and had 18 tackles on defense in the Rebels 21-6 win over Middleton (Tenn.). Its going to be a long year for defenses trying to stop Jude. He is going to be thrashing around defenses this year. No pun intended, just saying. Keep an eye out for this guy.
Grant Kitchens, OL, Nanih Waiya
There aren’t a lot of offensive who will make these lists, but from the game I watched this brother here was on point with his blocking. Every play he was being aggressive and he definitely recorded over three pancakes. This guy is a heavy load and we can look to see him make good blocks all season.
Dylan Ramsey, WR/DB, Biggersville
Had 2 rec 69 yards and 2 TDs. On defense he had 10 tackles and an interception. Dylan is another multi sport athlete who helps Biggersville out in more ways than one. He plays the middle of the defense like a true general leading his troops.
Kyle Phillips, ATH, Noxapater
Kyle was perfect passing the ball. He was 7/7 with 81 yards. He also had 5 rushes for 131 yards. On defense he had three tackles and recovered a fumble. Big time game for a big time player.
Omarion Blakes Omarion Blakes 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH McEvans | 2023 State MS , ATH, McEvans
Omarion Blakes Omarion Blakes 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH McEvans | 2023 State MS rushed for 335 yards with three TDs and a 2-point conversion. He scored another TD on a 72-yard punt return to give him four TDs in the Warriors 42-8 win over Leland. This young man is going to be a steal for some school. I think he may be one of the most underrated players in the state. He has been producing good numbers for quite some time.
JyKavius Riddle, RB/LB, Noxapater
Jy had over a hundred rushing yards in his first varsity start. The 2026 player hit big right before half time helping his team go up 21-0. His community is speaking very highly of him and a lot of people expect him to have a big time career.
