St. Augustine Ready To Run It Back

<strong>ST. AUGUSTINE FOOTBALL</strong><strong> 2022</strong> <strong>Head Coach:</strong> Brian Braddock <strong>2021 Record:</strong> 6-4 <strong>THE YELLOW JACKETS</strong> For those of you who follow high school football, especially in northeast Florida, you already know that what happened a year ago is certainly not typical of a team that is always in the mix. Dropping games to Jacksonville Bolles (32-27), Gainesville Buchholz (17-14) and Jacksonville Bishop Kenny (24-23) by a total of nine points could have changed the complexion of the season – in a major way. Only a 26-14 setback to St. Johns Bartam Trail was a game they were out of at the end. The frustration for the coaches and players was certainly something that they took with them into the off season, where they started to turn things around. A very productive summer – with visits and workouts has been the reason why the attitude remains positive, heading into the 2022 season.
