As we get closer to training camp, we will highlight the top returning players you should watch out for in the Shore Conference.

(Sr., DE/FB) Kevin Fitzgerald, Keyport
Standing at 6’4 225, Fitzgerald absolutely passes the eye test. He is a very talented kid that can play at the collegiate level. Fitzgerald has good speed and strength to shed blockers. He is very quick off the ball and times the snap count extremely well. Fitzgerald plays with good leverage and you will rarely see him get pushed back. He takes good angles to the ball and does a good job finishing tackles. Last season, he finished the season collecting 51 tackles, 6 TFL, 1 FF and 3 sacks. Fitzgerald had an impressive junior year and will be a key factor for Keyport this season.
(Jr., OT/DT) Tyler Burnham Tyler Burnham 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Red Bank Catholic | 2024 State NJ , Red Bank Catholic
Standing at 6’5 300, Burnham is a massive kid and has the skill set to go with it. Burnham is one the best offensive linemen in the shore conference. He set to have a big year as he is being heavily recruited by numerous Power 5 schools. Burnham helped Red Bank Catholic secure a state title last season and will look to repeat. He is a kid coaches love at the next level because of his nasty attitude. Burnham is a hard worker and loves to compete. He understands how to use his body and different schemes by the defense. Overall, Burnham is a great protector in both the running and passing game.
(Sr., OL/ DL) Tyler Addonisio, Middletown South
Standing at 6’1 260, Addonisio is a solid athlete that earned Second Team All- Conference last season. Despite, not being the biggest he does many things well. He is a good puller and can block well in space. Also, plays with good technique and commits very few holding penalties. Addonisio has an aggressive hand strike and physical at the point of attack. He is sneaky athletic, displaying smooth typewriter feet keeping his body in front of fast edge rushers. Addonisio is poised to have a big senior year, make sure you keep your eyes on him.
( Sr., ATH) Jack Gartenstein, Howell
Standing at 6’3 225, Mr Gartenstein is arguably Howell’s best player. He is a versatile athlete with a thick build. Gartenstein played numerous positions last season such as quarterback , wide receiver and linebacker. He moves extremely well for his size and does a good job with the ball in his hands. Gartenstein has good speed and adequate strength to play at the next level. Howell will need him to perform at a high level this season which he is fully capable of doing.
(Jr., WR/ CB) Kevin Maloney Kevin Maloney 6'1" | 150 lbs | WR Howell | 2024 State NJ , Howell
Standing at 5’10 170, Maloney is one of the main offensive weapons this season.. He has good hands and runs precise routes. Maloney does a good job catching in traffic and creating separation. He is dangerous after the catch, easily turning a short pass into a big gain. Last season, he finished the season hauling in 34 catches and 7 TD’s. He is a threat to go the distance at any time and is someone that has potential to be one of the best in the shore conference.
