Albright is a bit undersized for the position but can no doubt find a home at the next level on either side of the ball and packs a punch in the run game. He plays with great leverage at the POA and is a violent player with a high motor and plays a lot bigger than he appears. A very active tackler, he can shock inside while quickly getting off blocks and is seemingly always around the ball while showing a quick play recognition and high football IQ. Going into the Fall, he will be one of the top inside linebackers across the region and should continue to collect college interest.
OL Tommy Rainsford, De La Salle HS
Rainsford is a true technician in the trenches and leads the way for one of the most dominant rushing attacks across the nation. Excelling when down blocking and in the short area, he plays with a low hat, is quick off the ball and creates immediate push across the LOS with the ability to finish downfield and play with nasty intentions. Quick out of his stance when he pulls, he gets his head on the right side when kicking out and does not take false steps, while able to scrape to the second level and sustain blocks in the open field. In the right system, he will be a steal at the next level and will once again help anchor a strong 2022 Spartans offensive line.
C Charlie Kruger, Las Lomas HS
Kruger is one of the top true centers across the region and was a key piece last season for one of the Bays top teams in Las Lomas. He is an athletic blocker that carries his weight well and is strong at the POA with active feet and is very smart at the LOS. Excelling when blocking in the box, he plays with a low pad level and inside hands while showing good leg drive through out his blocks and finishing defenders downfield and playing with good toughness and physicality. Able to control defenders with his hands, he also shows a consistent wide base and can pick up pressures from various angles with quick feet and good balance/body control against bull rushers.
OT Malik Cleveland Malik Cleveland 6'3" | 305 lbs | OL Rancho Cotate | 2023 State CA , Rancho Cotate HS
Cleveland is no doubt one of the top two-way players along the front line across the entire Bay Area and recently came off the board with his commitment to UC Davis. He has a great build for the next level with no bad weight, tremendous strength at the POA and will only continue to grow and develop as he matures. He is twitchy off the ball with a heavy punch and violent shed in the run game while able to change direction quickly and has quick block recognition skills. Offensively, he is a natural bender with a strong vertical punch and can pull and block in space while mauling bigger defenders and showing good lateral movement abilities with well timed inside punches and an anchor in pass protection. Rancho Cotate is in line for a huge season this year with multiple DI offensive weapons and are the top team in the North Bay.
