In this article we are going to look at some prospects that have built some momentum coming out of the dead period. Tomorrow we will preview the Southwest Elite 7-on-7 Tournament being held at Shiloh Christian in Springdale this week as well as have plenty of tournament coverage later in the week.
Greyson Jerry Greyson Jerry 5'11" | 180 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2026 State AR -Linebacker-Fayetteville-2026
The Fayetteville linebacker has set the stage for an impressive football season with a very strong performance at the Football University camp in Naples over the weekend. At every camp this offseason, Jerry has flashed his great speed and ability to disrupt the opposing passing game. He has good versatility and can play the linebacker, edge rusher, or running back spots with equal effectiveness. The 2026 class is loaded with talented players, and he has the chance to big things over the next few seasons.
Nicholas Barry Nicholas Barry 6'1" | 285 lbs | OL Rogers Heritage | 2026 State AR -Offensive Line-Rogers Heritage-2026
The Rogers Heritage powerhouse offensive lineman got in some good work at Henderson State over the weekend. Barry showed good speed and worked out on both sides of the ball for the coaching staff Henderson State. He is an offensive lineman that is tough to overpower, and his foot speed will surprise you. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball he gives the War Eagles a player that can plug up the opponents rushing attack. Keep an eye out for Barry over the next few years, he has a bright future.

The Bentonville Tigers have extremely talented prospects at the wide receiver position. Carson Tucker Carson Tucker 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Bentonville | 2023 State AR is Bentonville wide receiver that is able to use his size well to go up and snag the football. Tucker is a prospect that has the speed to force defenses to play a bit more cautiously. Over the weekend, Tucker was able to tour the facilities at Pittsburg State University. Bentonville is talented on both sides of the ball this season have the potential to make a deep playoff run this season.
Luke Buchanan Luke Buchanan 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Har-Ber | 2023 State AR -Quarterback-Springdale Har-Ber-2023
Buchanan closed out the 2021 football season in impressive fashion with several strong performances. He is a quarterback that has a strong arm and is dangerous when he gets outside of the pocket. Buchanan has a good pocket presence and knows when to escape the pocket. Buchanan earned a scholarship offer from Morehead State University. He has the potential to have a strong season for the Wildcats this season and I look forward to seeing more of the Wildcats this season.

Charleston Collins Charleston Collins 6'4" | 240 lbs | DL Little Rock Mills | 2024 State AR has seen his recruiting explode over the past few months. He is a defensive lineman that can play the tackle or the edge position. The Little Rock Mills defensive lineman picked up a scholarship offer from the Miami Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have a history of recruiting the Natural State, so congratulations go out to Collins on the scholarship offer. Collins is just getting started and his recruiting is going to continue to blow up over the next few months. Keep an eye on Collins.
