Tae Anderson Tae Anderson 5'8" | 180 lbs | RB Fredrick | 2024 State MD (2024) | 5’8 RB | Frederick
Anderson is one of the most dynamic players in the county. He is a very speedy back that excels in a spread offense. He is elusive and dangerous in open space. He also is tough to bring down, he has the ability to run through weak tackles. He is very athletic, he has the ability to jump over piles and make impressive catches out the backfield. Anderson is a very explosive player that will put up big numbers.
Ben Pearch (2023) | 6’2 RB | Thomas Johnson
Pearch is an old-school back. He is very big for a back as he is listed at 6’2 265. He is big which makes him a very effective power back. He knows how to use his size as he runs with power and does a great job of running over defenders. Despite being bigger than most backs he still has the ability to move, cut, and make guys miss. Pearch is a fun player to watch.
Ethan Arneson Ethan Arneson 5'7" | 165 lbs | RB Liganore | 2024 State MD (2024) | 5’7 RB | Linganore
Arneson is one of the top backs in the state. He is the type of back that coaches love. He runs North-South and is always looking to put his foot in the ground and cut up the field. He also has great ball carrier vision, he does a great job of finding the hole and hitting it hard. He runs hard and doesn’t waste time with moves. He gets going to his top speed as quickly as possible and continues to pump his feet through contact. If Arneson can continue his production from last season he will have an opportunity to break records.
Carson Smith Carson Smith 6'2" | 210 lbs | RB Middletown | 2023 State MD (2023) | 6’2 RB | Middletown
Smith is a traditional back. He is at his best when he is in a pro formation running behind a lead blocker. He is very effective running between the tackles. He does a great job of breaking tackles. He runs with power which is displayed not only by his ability to break tackles but also by his strength. He is strong enough to drag defenders with him. Smith is a tough runner and fits Middletown’s offense perfectly.
Rony Lopez (2023) | 5’8 RB | Walkersville
Lopez is a solid back that puts out good production. Lopez has a good burst both when he gets the ball and when he gets to the second level. He not only has a good burst but he also has great speed. He uses his speed to his advantage as he runs North-South. He trusts his speed and his ability to run by defenders. He is a big play threat. Lopez is a good back that will have some highlight plays this season.
