Boyd is a talented CB prospect with a high-level DB skillset and athleticism. He plays physical disrupting routes in press coverage and flashes quick COD and fluid hips. He’s an instinctive player in coverage that can bait/anticipate throws and has the ball skills to create turnovers. He shows understanding of route concepts and does a good job playing QB eyes in zone. Boyd is undersized at 5’11”/160 but holds promising physical tools and instincts that will translate well at the next level. He picked up his first offer from Southern Oregon in June.

Devin Martin- LB, Vanden
Martin was one of the leading tacklers upfront for Vanden’s state championship run last season. He’s a run-stuffing downhill tackler that can diagnose plays quickly and is physical at the POA. He’s an effective interior blitzer that can explode off the ball and be disruptive behind the LOS. He flashes fast reactions to the ball and delivers strong contact in the hole. Martin picked up an offer from Lincoln University (Oakland) in June.

Jermaine Hargreaves Jermaine Hargreaves 6'3" | 170 lbs | DB El Cerrito | 2023 State CA – DB, El Cerrito
Hargreaves is a long, rangy playmaker at 6’2”/180. He can play between the tackles as a LB or fill a more natural position at S. He covers ground tackling sideline-to-sideline with good speed and motor. He’s a twitchy athlete that reacts to the ball with burst and explosiveness. He showed ability to play man coverage over the slot as a junior. Hargreaves has underrated playmaking and athletic ability that should generate FCS interest in the fall.

Bernard Jones- LB, Bishop O’Dowd
Jones is a dynamic defender that can make plays at all three levels of the defense. He provides athletic versatility at 6’2”/195 with ability to play at the LOS as an EDGE player, interior LB, and drop into coverage as a SS/OLB. He’s physical in the run game using his length and athleticism to shed blocks and has the lateral speed to chase out wide. He plays well in space flashing instincts and burst in coverage. Jones is an underrated NorCal prospect with upside in his versatile skillset.

Caleb Padrid- DB, San Ramon Valley
Padrid’s a talented prospect in the secondary for San Ramon. His athleticism and physicality give him the freedom to play CB, nickel, and SS. He’s a skilled cover guy with a smooth backpedal, fluid hips, and short-area burst. He works aggressively downhill in the run game and is a violent tackler in space. He can roam the middle of the field and be a reliable playmaker in space utilizing his instincts and reactions. Padrid’s attracted interest from several FCS schools and could be due for his first offer in the fall.
