With the 2022 just a few weeks away, I’m doing a summer prospect analysis for quarterbacks from every Classification/District/Region in Florida. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level. De’Vonsha O’Neal- Pensacola High c/o 23   5’10 165lbs     O’Neal will look to step up and lead the Tigers in 2022. With the transfer of last years starter [player_tooltip player_id=’252369’ first=’Nino’ last=’Freeman’] to IMG Academy, O’Neal will be relied upon to help get Pensacola High back to their winning ways in 2022. There isn’t any Hudl film on him to evaluate, but is a player that coaches should check out this season.       [player_tooltip player_id=’128301’ first=’Aidan’ last=’Byrd’]- Pensacola Catholic c/o 23   6’2 200lbs   Byrd was a major bright spot for the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders in 2021. Last season he passed for 2,225 yards, completing 62% of his passes with 16 touchdowns through the air while averaging 222 yards passing per game. Possesses a strong arm and can make everything throw on the field, has athleticism to throw on the run and possesses a good feel to climb the pocket and throw with accuracy. He currently has an offer from Troy University. He’s also an outstanding student with a 3.8 GPA. In 2021 he passed for 1,316 yards, completed 55% of his passes with 11 touchdowns through the air. He also rushed for 274 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. Redding is a dual threat quarterback that throws a nice deep ball with touch and ball placement, consistently stands in the pocket and deliver strikes with the rush bearing down on him. Shows the ability with his legs to be a threat when needed. Has seen his stock rise this summer picking up offers from Army West Point and Naval Academy.
